Zafiro, I hear ya.. it does seem to be slow for me too.
Ruby, that's such a shame hunBut it's sort of needs must because it will probably impact the rest of your challenge if you do alot of ebaying etc so try and think of it that way

Hi everyone. Well done to all of you for January!!!
I've got a quick question, hopefully someone can help. I noticed the Lovefilm cashback deal on TCB and am quite tempted to take out their free trial. Has anyone got any experience of how easy (or not) is it to cancel the subscription with them?
Thanks
When I rang to cancel the women on the phone asked a few questions about the service I'd received and the reason for wanting to cancel at the end she said something alone the lines of "so you have opted for a 3 month holiday and payment will resume on April 17th!" She was lovely but felt like she tried to trick me! So I asked her to repeat that and I told her I wanted to cancel this completely which she did in the end.
She was very friendly on the phone just make sure they cancel it properly!0 -
Slow start for me as I am paying off a car loan and over paying on the mortgage too, so only £229 towards the 12k savings pot this month . Once the loan is gone in a few months I will be able to get really going on the saving side. But well done to everyone else, who seem to be doing well

Ruby, have you cheacked your household insurance. If you are covered for accidental damage, you could get some of that back?0

Hi everyone and well done on totals so far!
I've managed a bit more than I though I would this month as I recieved a small windfall at the end of last month (payed into my ISA in January so it isn't cheating I hope!), so I feel I am off to a good start. Of course what I probably should have done is spent it on clearing my last credit card bill, but thats going to be next month now.
So, I've managed £200 into my credit union account, £210 into a regular savers, £1002 into my ISA (including windfall, so won't be adding anything like that again!), £500 from OH and £15 from 3 reward accounts :-) Total for this month is £1927. I also overpaid my mortgage by £165 but not going to count that :-)
Last year was the year of paying off debt for me. I got rid of a personal loan, my student loans and almost all of my c/c debit. I have a bit on my c/c at the moment after Christmas, but it will be gone next month. This year is named the year of save!
Good luck for February x0 -
Transferred over another £2.48, which was savings on my shopping so have added that to my total
. Nearly one month down.
