  • This is my 1st month so I hope I do this right, I have done the update link from the 1st post and am declaring savings of £134.33 more than I had last month! :j

I have also paid off Januarys cc in full from Januarys money (instead of taking it out of next months), I also have around £60 in my Sealed Pot Challenge and £26 in my Second Purse Challenge.

It's much less than other people but a great start for ME!! :D

Just to say a BIG thank you to all posters who are using the link at the front to do their monthly update - it makes it so much easier for me! :)

Slowlyfading, I want to say a BIG thank you to YOU for managing the results for so many people who want to save such big amounts of money! :T

How much money do you think we'll manage to save collectively - there's 201 of us now?!

    Aww, thanks :o

If you look on the spreadsheet, at the bottom it adds up the totals of everyone, and if everyone manages their target, it's just shy of £2 million

That is a fantastic pay rise, well done trixie!

Thank you both! It came off the back of being made redundant from a position in the same company, so was really lucky to get a better job instead! :)

Off to a good start, but still short of my target.
Isa's paid me £56.80 interest, vantage accounts £48.10 interest. £300 into my First Direct monthly saver and i managed to throw 500 into another account.
I'm declaring £904.90 for January, but i think i'm in for an expensive Febuary......

Not sure whether I'll have to dip into it next month to pay the credit card bill for my sales spending :o but....

..... payday today so sent £1,000 to savings, £300 to the regular saver account. And Halifax kindly gave me £5 at the start of the month for the priviledge of me holding an account with them. :p

    So January count is £1,305

And one of my tyres has gone flat :( so a repair or new one is required.
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
  • Hi everyone. Well done to all of you for January!!!

I've got a quick question, hopefully someone can help. I noticed the Lovefilm cashback deal on TCB and am quite tempted to take out their free trial. Has anyone got any experience of how easy (or not) is it to cancel the subscription with them?

    Thanks
