Little boy blue, come blow your horn?
Urgh.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

So is this.......
Maybe I am just too vindictive.
I think for a photo to print out while he is sitting there would be absolute genius!!0 -

I have advised him that if that is the case I want to see a solicitor and get something legal put in place.
Without taking the equity out of your home?0 -
If she alerts him he'll move swiftly - he's had longer to prepare for this - and paperwork and funds will disappear.
She needs to keep quiet, take advice, and make sure she outsmarts him.
I agree with this. Don't let your guard down until you have seen your solicitor... and maybe not even then, depending on the advice the solicitor gives you.
At the moment he thinks he holds all the aces. As soon as he realises the messy stuff has hit the fan, money and documents will almost certainly disappear.I'm a retired employment solicitor. But the thing is if I want to keep my self respect I know I can't do anything I've said, I'm just going to try and keep my head down for the next few days as he's away most of next week get whatever advice I can. Then take action without causing hurt to other family members.0

Don't forget that you have no blame here. it would not be you who is causing hurt but him. this is all his doing and you need to get on with your life as quickly as you can. Will you really be able to bear spending a few weeks in the same house as him...knowing he is off to his other woman on weekends away. Nightmare. The best way to show some self respect is to get him out of your home now.0

I know he needs to go but I've asked him he's said no, so what can I do? I just need to hold out.0

That's the one just think I am your master.0 -
Just concentrate on yourself and your children, and making sure that you do whatever is needed to ensure a roof over your heads and money in the bank to live on.
You will have enough to deal with -
1 get legal advice about the house, divorce and start proceedings
2 move child benefit and tax credits to your bank account if that has not already been done
3 phone tax credit help line for advice on how to claim in your sole name (so you can have any necessary documents and forms ready to go as soon as he moves out)
4 ditto council tax benefit and single occupier discount
5 ditto CSA
The point is to make sure you are armed and ready to go as soon as he leaves.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
