  • He seams to think that he wil be able to support this house,(gas, Elec, water and mortgage), as well as his own so that I don't have to move with the children.

I have advised him that if that is the case I want to see a solicitor and get something legal put in place.

    blue monkey I wouldn't.

Knowledge is power - the OP has breathing time to get all her ducks in a row, clear bank accounts, ensure that she is doing everything with a long term view whilst thwarting his exit plan.

If she alerts him he'll move swiftly - he's had longer to prepare for this - and paperwork and funds will disappear.

She needs to keep quiet, take advice, and make sure she outsmarts him.

She cannot get his money - he has already made sure of that - so it makes no difference in that respect. And you can be sure he has already been doing that. She will get Legal Aid, he is going to need ££££ to fight it and he needs to realise that. The sooner the better IMO.

What she need to do is make him realise that there will be no 'easy exit' this time. Give him something to stress over and realise that he is shafted.

it is what I would do anyway. He is playing happy families and finding a new love nest, she needs to put a stop to that. And she can.

Only because he is intending to remortgage the house you are living in. Without that money he cannot as it sounds like he cannot afford 2 mortgage. He needs to know why he will not get a remortgage. And anytime soon will do.

He will probably think he can talk you round, you need to show him why you are actually going to a solicitor instead of him being nice to you all the time so he can talk you round.

I would not want to be living with that, washing and cleaning up after that scumbag.

besides, he is going to need to realise that the fancy double lifestyle he has been living is over. Is his fancy bit of skirt going to want him knowing he has no money to put a roof over their heads and go on fancy holidays.

That would be my power anyway! He probably thinks you are seeing a solicitor about an arrangement and it's going to cost me £5 in fees.

IMO you need to tell him now. He will no doubt pack a bag and be off and I doubt he will live under that roof with you again. Why wait for that and have the atmosphere in the house? At the moment it;s only you feeling this way. Why is that fair?
  • I intend to make him sweat, I may just go around sing a nursery rhyme, as her web page address is part of one.

  • Blue_monkey I agree with you but I'm just taking my time, i need to figure out the right way to do things. He doesnt know ive got a solicitor, i just need to be armed with all the facts first, and then go and use his printer whilst hes there to print off one of the photos.

I've considered emailing my sister in law with a web link so she can see who hers sons new aunty will be.
