Hi, if there is a group of 4 people does anyone know if you can get 4 tickets for 2 with one text or can you send 2 texts and get 2 codes for the 4 of you or do you have to have 2 orange sims and send a text from each of them? Anyone had any experience of this situation?

two texts, four tickets.
you can text twice from the same number to get four tickets (but some of the box office staff have a problem getting their room temperature IQ round that...).

Honestly, check on your account, OP, by sending the messages.
I know on my Orange Contract that if I request a second code, the reply tells me I already have a code for that date and gives me the same caode again. I also know that the Orange code machines we have at the box office will tell me if the code is invalid or has been used before.

I've sent multiple texts in before when I thought it might not have gone through but it turns out the orange text message system was just slow and it decided to send the texts half way through the film after we'd paid full price T_T

The main point I noted from this though was that I was charged for every text sent. So if you text FILM twice you will be charged 35p x 2 but still only receive one valid code.

Orange Wednesdays is always slow on Wednesday.
I tend to text well before a wednesday now to make sure I have one just incase I decide to go. Been gutted a couple of times because I didn't get the code in time.

Yeah, text for your code on a thursday or friday. Generally less network traffic on those days ( don't know why!?). Get your code well in advance and if you can get more than one then its all good!:rotfl:
We ain't too picky at the box office as Orange pay for the tickets regardless, but as long as the code is on a phone it's fine. We don't even check if it's an Orange phone, so get a mate to get a code and foward it to you if you need to.:D

Hiya all anyone else use the 2 for 1 orange wednesday deal?
First time using it i sent the the "film" txt to 241 at 1230pm but have yet to recieve my txt? ive also rang 241 and requested txt ticket but still not reply?
any advice?

I've used the 241 deal a few times, each time I've recieved my code reply text within a few seconds, not sure what the problem is with yours. Are you an Orange user or, like me have you just got the sim for this promotion, if you've just got a payg sim, have you registered it?, if not, that could be the problem. Otherwise, I have no clue, sorry.

If you text on any day but Wednesday you'll get a reply almost by return.
If you text on Wednesday you've most likely have a wait as everyone text on the day and the servers can't keep up, moral: Text early.

(My son worked at Vue for a few weeks and found people texting as they got to the ticket window and wondering why nothing came back !!)
