On a point of order; err no it isn't. The main source of revenue for a local authority would be government grants. Council tax only pays for 26% of local authority expenditures.

Well, I'm sure someone of high principles such as you, not wanting to line the fat-cat councils pockets, will be surrendering your council tenancy any day soon. To do anything else may be seen as hypocritical.0
