    • Ebay item posted. Paid for with loose change I gathered up from around my car.
    • Worked 6 30 - 10.30 tonight bringing DFD forward by 15 hours
    • Got a call about the unsold item, looks like I have a buyer for it after all
    • Free food at work tonight
    Bad Things about today:exclamati
    • No money related badness but I am tired :(from all the extra shifts, and glad that stint is over. One more shift on Saturday and that will be it until next summer. I know I should want the money but I treasure my time off too much. Also I really want to concentrate on my real job and progress as far as I can, which I can't do if I am tired from doing cr*ppy hours at a part time job for cr*ppy pay

  • Hey Banwa

Congrats on the good things - really impressed with what you've been doing.

I'm sorry to hear how tired you are at the mo. In all the hard work and general 'busy' of your life, don't forget to take some time out for yourself each day - even if it's just 15 mins somewhere quiet with a cuppa. You need to recharge those batteries or all the hard work won't be worth it.

    Take care.

    Nora.

I hid in the loos today and plucked my eyebrows and filed my nails because I hadn't had time in the last few days. I can't tell you what a better mood I was in afterwards. I think my enormous eyebrows had been weighing my head down, making me extra slow and tired.

Not planning to do an extra work for a goodly while. Planning to send Mr Banwa out to do more hours instead. Luckily, he is very obedient.:D

    • 'Unsold; item now sold and collected. Last ebay item posted.
    • Car loan came out. 14 payments to go. Who'd have thought I would be happy to see £300 disappear from bank account
    • Not working tonight. Not good for money, but VERY good for my wellbeing
    Bad Things about today:exclamati
    • Discovered that the stupid buyer (that took forever to pay), has NOT PAID POSTAGE. :mad:And I have posted it. So annoyed. I emailed her straight away to say I would post it when she paid, but it will arrive tomorrow and there will be no incentive for her to pay then. Oh well, I suppose you win some, you lose some. Find this whole ebay thing a bit of a pain actually. Might give it a rest for a while.
Spends over the last 2 days have been postage only which I am not counting because someone else has already paid for it (or at least should have!)

I'd send her a reminder - if you don't get it, make a comment in the feedback (but make sure she's left feedback for you already;)) - not sure how she's managed that as when I buy stuff it comes up with the total amount....

I know what you mean about it getting to be a pain - when I was paying off my debts I sold almost constantly (got to the point where I was buying bulk clearance items and selling for a profit) and it was almost like another job - but it did help clear them sooner.

I haven't sold for ages as was totally sickened of it - I may try again in the New Year and try to get a bit of "emergency" money put aside.

Well done, keep at it but don't forget about yourself. :D

    Thanks rising from the ashes

Am definitely having a rest for a while. Find the whole thing a bit stressful. Anyway I don't really have that much more to sell.

Didn't post yesterday because there wasn't much to say. Accidently paid virgin credit card twice because I was expecting a DD to come out today but when I looked last night, nothing was showing. So I paid just in case, then the DD came out and so I have paid twice, taking me right up to the edge of the OD limit AGAIN.

I loosened the purse string a LOT in the last 2 days. I spent £1.26 on coffees at work yesterday(7 x 18p:p). £1.05 on crisps and pop today. They are one offs for me, I refused to pay the prices for the crisps and pop. And the coffee machine coffee is foul.

Spent some money on Christmas presents last night too.

And that's all folks. What a dull life I lead:rotfl:

  • Hi Banwa

I did quite a lot of ebay last year, and eventually got fed up with it. There are some strange/inconsiderate people out there which can make it more trouble that it's worth ;). I don't blame you for a taking a break from it. I've given it up altogether, so you're way ahead of me :o. Good luck, hope it gets better :).

    • Really having trouble getting payment from part time job. Let's see how today goes. Told him I wouldn't work tonight if he didn't pay up when I arrived. Wondered if I have the balls to go through with this threat

There really are some funny ones out there. I treat people how I would like to be treated, I don't understand these people who don't:(
