Happy Birthday Banwa :j
Hope you have a lovely dayFull LBM 26 Sept 110 -
*I bought my own present for myself about three month ago because I saw something I really wanted for an unbelievable price and put it in the loft for Mr Banwa to give me on my birthday (he is BAD at presents, he once gave me a walking stick for Christmas). Anyway this is a set of silver plated cutlery and I am so excited about finally being able to open it. Am wondering if I should just go the while hog and wrap it myself too
Just read through your whole diary in one sitting - I've subscribed now, you're doing so well. :T
The above is hilarious, why are men so bad with presents?! I got running socks for my birthday this year! Have a lovely day.Barclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.
O/D £500. Weight loss: 12/28lbsSavings owed [STRIKE] £3000 [/STRIKE] now £2250

666paw, Fudgefund, Knitty and Been, thank you so much. I had a wonderful birthday, Mr Banwa had planned a surprise party - and managed to keep it a surprise. It was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I'm so lucky to have him

Good Things about today :j
- Another item sold on ebay, faster than I anticipated. Brings paypal funds to £190, so I only need £95 now for Mr Banwa's Christmas present.
- Debt has dipped back above the £24k mark (by about £30) because Mr Banwa spent £100 on party supplies at the weekend. Not going to update signature, too demoralising. Mr Banwa had the best intentions and I will find more things to ebay to make up for it.
- Ebay boots
- Ebay trainers
- Ebay oils x 2
- Find another £35 of things to ebay
- Buy a door handle
- fit door handle to shed
- Washing
- Ironing
- Paint bathroom door frame
- Touch up woodwork on stairs
- Wash car
- Take food to work for the rest of the week
£20 diesel, £35 Christmas presents, £1.90 food at workDebt £26k 18/10/140 -

That's sooooo nice! I don't think my OH would ever do that as he hates parties . So glad you enjoyed yourself.

I log all these on the weekly spend challenge but want to keep everything on here too for ease of referring back. My budget for this week was £43 and actual spends were £84.
I had set myself what I thought was a fairly unrealistic budget of £105 per week for food, fuel, petfood, toiletries and cleaning products plus miscellaneous spends. I set it low just to see how I got on. I thought I would blow it out of the water but in fact over the last 4 weeks the overspend has been a total £40. To manage on £115 per week would really help with the debt busting. :j
It is payday on Monday so have spent a bit of time updating the spreadsheet and working out what overpayments I might be able to make. The answer is a Big Fat Zero.:( Between now and Christmas we have 3 birthdays, and a car service and MOT. That with Christmas means it's a huge month for outgoings for us. We will only be able to make minimum and set payments which total about £800.
Still this does mean I might have cleared £2k by Christmas which was the stretch target. And just not getting into more debt for Christmas will be a first for me.:D
To do list isn't touched yet. I nfact, have 2 more to add- frame print that has been behind table for last 2 months
- Work out what vouchers etc I have to spend on Christmas presents

Ahhh the elusive payday!
Blo*dy heck ur doing brilliant galSounds a bit like my budget. End of year and commitments made
I can't pay any more off than I already am which is a bit demoralising when you've got the bit between your teeth and want to sort everything out before you lose it!! I'm confident things will pick up for us in January xx

I REALLY think so. I think it will gather momentum for us, especially in the no-council-tax-or-water-rates months (reasons in themselves for loving February and March:j)
So much to look forward to. First Christmas, then some serious debt busting:DDebt £26k 18/10/140
