Hello everyone and thanks for posting, sorry haven't been on for a while.

January was the last of the Tesco loan payment (we took out to buy the car), and also the first proper pay packet Mr B has had for about 8 months. So overall £300 + £500 better off, so we spent it all and not on debt repayments.

    Spends
    • £200 deposit on a trip to Centerparc. (4 nights in Sept off peak because none of the stepchildren will be at school anymore) £400 balance to pay
    • £300 for service and new tyres for car. When we were really strapped last year we couldn't afford to service the car so long overdue.
    • £260 for home cinema system, my faithful stereo died 2 weeks ago so we had no where to play music. We now have a DVD player and music! So happy. So relieved it didn't break last year when we wouldn't have been able to replace it, we both lurve music
    • New handbag £45. Which has slightly changed my life. It goes over my shoulder and has pockets for my keys and my phone which I use and I don't lose things any more. Awesome.:D
    • Joined a gym for £36 per month
    • £150 on podiatry:eek:
So to put it in the usual format

    Good Things:j
    • Cheap(ish) hol booked and deposit paid
    • Car serviced finally
    • Handbag organised
    • Have home cinema system
    • Have cancelled sky
    • Got cheap gym membership
    • Foot mostly better, more work to do
    • Car loan paid
    • Old car got through its MOT
    • Can really focus on debt busting now
Anyway, now we have spent what we need to spend and we have proper money coming in again, we can do some real debt busting.

    That'll do for today
