Thanks for the advice, good people. I have invoiced the buyer now.
Good Things about today :j- 2 more items sold on ebay
- Half way through weekly budget and half way through the week, fridge is reasonably stocked, car full of diesel. If I can stick to my budget I will be so happy
- Still no payment from buyer for Sunday's sold item
- £45 diesel. Tank fullish.
- £2.83 on veg. Used coppers again much to the disgust of the 12 year old on sainsbury checkout.
- £10 on a year's supply of coffee (literally) so pleased with that
- £15 dog food for inlaws (I can get it cheap from work)

Hi banwa and everyone
Just wanted to say i've read your thread and love your focus and enthusiasm - *i may also have to borrow the idea of good things and bad things*- i think it will help me truthfully address the bad things that i do
rather than trying to justify things like 'ooh i just got a stunning top which i'll wear lots for £20 instead of £60 = bargainously good thing :j i'll be more - 'i just spent £20 on a top which is lovely and reduced but that £20 could have gone to the debts and i have plenty of tops so it wasn't really a need' = bad thing
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Just wanted to say about your e-b*y buyer who's not paid yet that i wouldn't worry - its coming up to the end of the month so they could just be waiting of wages going in / waiting for someone to pay them for an item so its just funds going out of their paypal account. Or they've won and will pay after a couple of days. - I know its frustrating when you want the funds in and the item gone - i'm often impatient for this to happen too - but it is great that its sold and i'm sure the money will be paid to you soon.
Have subscribed to your thread so will stop by again - though i do talk alot as you may have noticed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hello DDFW ,
I'm really flattered that you might borrow the good thing bad thing idea. I think it does help; throughout the day, as things happen, I summarise the event in MSE diary speak in my head (sshh) so it does mean that MSE DFWism is always in the forefront of my mind. I just hope I can keep it up.:o
In the past I have fallen off the wagon and felt too embarrassed to come back but what I now realise is that no one here judges, they just support and understand. We don't PLAN to go mental one month but if we do I really think we can carry on where we left off without judgement.
Anyway it's catching, I'm blethering away tooDebt £26k 18/10/140 -

Been
Oh Been *sighs*, it is going the right way but it feels sloooowwww. I have a load of balance transfers I need to do soon, so the fees are going to add to the overall total so it's going to feel even slower for a whileDebt £26k 18/10/140 -
Good Things about today :j
- 2 ebay items sold last night sent. Feel v efficient. Used all recycled packaging too, made a box from scrap at work etc. In fact the jiffy bag I used on Monday was one I had 'rescued' from the bin at work.
- Balance transfer joy (see below)
- Nice bag sold for 99p. Wish I'd kept it, it was a bag I bought for my honeymoon. Feel full of regret. Really thought I would get more:(
- Balance transfer despair (see below)
- £7.69 postage. Not counting out of budget though because someone else has paid it.
Balance transfer despair
Was wondering to myself when the egg deal actually ends, so checked online. It runs out in 4 days time. The goes up to nearly 26%. Immediately applied for a new card but when I didn't get an instant decision spent the afternoon pooing myself that I might not. What if I have run out of luck with the 0% deals. What if soon I have to pay 26% on everything? I couldn't concentrate, I felt sick. (I am a natural worrier you might have worked out) I felt like I couldn't do this, it's all too much.:(
Balance transfer joy
And then, I got home to a statement from a Santander credit card that I never use and I thought, whatif:idea:? What if they will let me use that to transfer the balance of the egg card to? It's worth a call. And guess what? They are giving me a year's interest free credit at 3% fee :jif I transfer before 10th November (I couldn't do it there an then because I need a new card sending to me)
I can't tell you the feeling of relief. Not just because I don't have to pay the interest. But because I feel like I'm in control, becuase it felt like the planet aligned just for me today and because I CAN do this.:D

Great news about the balance transfer deal!
I gave up on getting new credit cards with 0% deals ages ago, although I can't even remember the last time I tried... I never know whether it's worth it or whether getting refused will do my credit rating harm so I just never do anything at all!Savings target: £25000/£25000
