    hi mrfrnks,

Although TT do use LLU it depends on what services you subscribe to and what exchange your connected to as to whether LLU is used or even available at the exchange.

To confirm this we would need to know the service you are going to connect to (is the migration of both BB service and phone or phone only) and the exchange you are connected to.

    Regards

  • I am on a LLU (did the 17070) and want to migrate both BB and telephone. The point I'm trying to get over is that when we took the contract with Toucan we didn't agree to LLU. Somewhere between Toucan being taken over by Pipex and then subsequently TalkTalk our line has been moved.

You do not have to 'agree' to LLU. Your telcom can LLU the line if they wish.

    Hi Mrfrnks,

At each stage of aquisition you will have been given new terms of contract. TalkTalk Terms have always had the terms relating to migrating the line to LLU if this is available in the exchange. It would also have been accompanied by a letter when the upgrade took place.

if i decide to leave pipex, can i leave now / this month or do i have to give them a months notice ?

You will be on the standard 30 days notice, unless you have inadvertantly commenced a new minimum term contract.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I'm in a similar boat

Can anyone tell me, if I 'accept' the new terms by not saying anything is this equivalent to signing a new contract that I will be locked into for 12 months, or will I still be able to move on by giving standard notice when I;m ready as I would be if my Pipex deal continued?

    Thanks :)
