hi all,
still new to the boards but have lurked a wee bit longer
I have a fulltime and a part time job, and am working 7 days a week, each day 8.30 to at least 5pm so about 49 hours a week. It can be very tiring at times but the money is the most I have ever earned and it is making my life a lot better as from using a snowball calculator I have worked out I can pay off 2 credit cards and 3 store cards by Sept this year !!
I have been doing this for nearly 7 months - if only I had my lightbulb moment when I started working then I would have been a lot more debt free by now and moved to two part time posts and actually get time off ah well...
I do love my weekend position though as its in education
to get time off I have to use flexi days or my annual leave so I try to use them sparingly ack
but I havent been off sick for over a year so my immune system must be alright.... (probably spoke too soon lol).
had better shut up before I write a book!
hi-ho-hi-ho its off to work we go ....

Hey,
Yeah I usually volunteer to do it even if I don't really wanna do it. Every penny helps etc... (this is pre-tax btw)
In Jan I only did eight hours but got four extra hours for working new years day so that month = £85.20
In Feb I did fourteen hours and got £99.40.
What will March bring...0 -

I've just become a Body Shop at home consultant as well as my 30 hours a week job. I want to get the credit card paid off totally and Body Shop pay pretty well!
I'm loving it! It combines my love of skincare, make up and meeting people AND it'll bring in more income.

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Am working for a minimum of 3 hrs 2moro after my dentist appointment. May stay on longer, might not. All depends if the relief worker that has been booked turns up... she has a habit of not turning up and cancelling 10 mins after her shift should have started!

Overtime where I work has kind of dried up

Hope the overtime starts again soonBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

I did 4 hours yesterday in my 2nd job and am doing 5 hours on Sunday. Haven't done a timesheet in blinking ages for this job so there will be a nice hefty sum coming my way come 28th April.
