Can anybody tell me if you can claim charges back from catalogue companies under the same ruling. I have had many "admin charges", late payment fees added?

    Be interested to find out.

    Thanks

Theres a thread a couple of lines down called can i claim the admin charges from my catalogue - theres a few replies in there which may be helpful as im not too sure. I think you can though!

  • Some interesting facts in this thread, I am going to claim back every penny even if it is a low amount.Only a few questions though, they have been aswered before but I like being 100% positive before I get MY money back

    1) On catalogue statements I have had a few admin charges and these have been for different amounts from £5 to £15 (must have changed paper suppliers) can you claim back every penny of these?
    2) Is it just a case of sending the same letters as you do to the banks and change the words to admin fees?
    3) Can I phone up and request statements?
    4) If the claim is made can they close the account down and ask for the remainder of the money you owe them?

Did you claim just the late payment fees from simplybe or service charge as well and if so was it only the late payment fees before they reduced down to £12.00

    Hi,
Am I right in assuming this applies to Next Directory as well? Yiipppeee ddooo dahh if it does! I dread to think how much I have paid them in late/missed payment fees over the last six years.....if it does I'll get my letter requesting details of the charges off to them today! ;)
    Thank you,

I assume as you cn claim against the catalogue companies that you can do the same with Next. All operate in the same way!

I claimed back £115 pounds of charges, they ranged from £15 to £20, i didnt claim service charges. They paid it all back, not just the difference.

If you are a customer of Simply Be and wish to request statements you should go to their website and register to shop online, from there you can goto CONTACT US, then Other Enquiries. This will enable you to email them direct and they respond super quick. I had my statements a few days after emailing them.
