I can see the green! What's that all about then?! Because she's the thread starter maybe, is it a new MSE thing like when all the quotes turned green?
EDIT - cross posts with Birdie, I'm very cleverWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Green for me too!
Did you work on a yard nim? I'm feeling horse deprived at the min. I had a welly eating rabbit once so I wouldn't buy pricy ones as the fear still lurks!

My school had a compulsory uniform, including coat. And yep, the winter one was a waxed jacket. The smell of 18 of those wet in a hot classroom in winter was overpowering. I can't smell one now without wanting to gag - the power of memory!
Which is why I can't have one even though they are AWESOME and warm and keep ya dry.I'm glad I'm special in my greenness... but it's not intentional and I can't see it.
You are indeed special my love.archersluck wrote: »Did you work on a yard nim?
Kinda grew up on one. My Grandfather, God rest him, was from a long line of farmers and his eldest took over. Steered away from the dairy and into equestrian. So I spent a LOT of time out there. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Well done for cutting up the CC Shrimpy! Lovely feeling!
Thanks Birdie, it did feel good. Just wish I'd done it before I spent on it again
Glad I'm not the only one seeing green! Not sure I like it either but I guess it would be good for other threads, sometimes all the replies say the same thing and you just want to see the OPs answers.
I've been trying to find pictures of my school uniform, I'm sure it would win the prize for horrendousness! A multicoloured striped blazer with matching straw boater which you had to wear all the way up the fifth year (GCSE year) - still makes me shudder!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Good lord Shrimpy, where did you go to school?! Mine wasn't too bad, apart from the bottle green and mustard yellow colour scheme! We didn't have to wear blazers (or boaters!) though thank goodness, just jumpers and ties with skirt or trousers. The worst bit was the green netball skirt with massive green pants underneath...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I quite like the sound of that Shrimpy! I think I got off lightly with black skirt or trousers, white blouse, back cardie or jumper and a burgundy and silver tie. They all wear polo shirts now but I think that looks a bit scruffy!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Oh Birdie don't ask! It was hideous! It used to be a convent back in the 70's and I think they prided themselves on their traditions. You were meant to wear the whole thing to and from school as well and would get in trouble if you were spotted anywhere without your boater on! I remember walking home from school one day in the hideous blazer and some boys followed me all the way into town throwing bread at me! Scarred for life!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0

When I kept seeing you all writing that you can see Green, I thought you were talking about me! I felt popular for once!
I can't see green either?
I want to see The Help too. I'm off to see Immortals next week, thanks to Sky. I've lost count how many times I've been to the cinema for free this year!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

My school uniform was NOTHING compared to that Shrimpy. I'm sorry you had to suffer that!
Mine was like Tete's - only I had a maroon jumper instead of a cardigan. The awful thing about it was how hideous I looked back then!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!
