LOL Greenie, I need to see these creatures, OH would die if I made him Star Wars geek toys like that! No idea how you'd even start!
Thanks Star for the ribbon idea, will have a play and see how it looksNot sure how to do shoes for Sophie although I remember making some winter boots for Barbie and basically cutting 2 flat boot shapes then sewing together so the seam was at the front and back... she seemed warm enough in them!
You could always add a bit of string/ribbon as laces to cover up the seam and make them fit a bit better.

Star... Barbie has always had expensive tastes!
I still haven't grown out of them TBH (although they're confined to high shelves in the bedrooms now
) you wouldn't believe how much the collectable dolls cost, and the outifts to go on them, which 'true' collectors leave in the box so it's just a very expensive frock on a bit of card, not even being modelled! I used to make Barbie clothes and she had some lovely stuff IMO at least. One of my Day Zero things is to make a Barbie size version of my wedding dress... just to prove that I can!
Our Christmas tree 'Angel' is a Barbie and for this year I found a proper Christmassy doll dressed in red and white like a candy cane but the cheapest I can find her is £30 + shipping from the USA ... that's a very expensive tree topper! Might have to stick with the usual doll!

We are both geeks (proud ones at that!) so we have a lot of geek related material (some would say carp!) around the house. A friend of mine (who is the ultimate super geek) bought me a Stars Wars craft book for my birthday, which is awesome, so those two items are in there and look soooooooo cute, so I thought I'd make them
The fact mine will look NOTHING like these saddens me! Why was my Textiles teacher such a b1tch at school?! She should have been teaching me how to make these rather than a stupid make up bag (which she gave me a D for!) Not that I'm bitter.....
Starnac - its the reason I'm not a size 8 because clothes cost the same however little material is used!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

Greenie, when we were away OH bought a cook book called 'Wookie Cookies', he's looking forward to making 'Hoth Chocolate' and 'Han-burgers'!
He also bought this t-shirt which makes him giggle everytime he sees it! Our flat is subtley geeky, you're never far away from Star Wars or Harry Potter (both of which have dedicated shelf space!) and we've got a tiny Optimus Prime and Bumblebee watching over our kitchen!

Birdie - that is funny!
I'm intrigued by this cooking book - I must investigate!
I'll have to scan in some pages from the book tonight. Some of the things are hilarious! I don't even think super geeks want some of this round the house!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!
