Ooooh hurry up Baby Star... I have my money on today! :)

Let me make it clear that it is OH who is the Trekky, not me! I've just soaked up some of the basic knowledge through being around him too long but I'm not a fan! :p

I'm going to my work's quiz night tonight, in a team called 'And in last place...', we clearly expect great things! ;) Tomorrow it's SIL2B's hen party, which is a meal then drinks in Yarm... not quite the 4 days in Spain that my brother had!

I have my money on tomorrow, maybe a firework will get him out hehe.

Archers - your weekend sounds fun!

Have fun at the hen do Birdie!

We are down in southampton for a couple of days, came down last night. Poppy has now taken a great interest in my mums cats and squeals and chases them which is so funny. They are clearly not impressed though. We are going to see OH's sister and nieces later and tomorrow i am going with my mum and dad to visit my Grandma in hospital. Appartently she has been a bit confused lately which will be hard to see but hopefully Poppy will cheer her up.

If you want a club at the end of the night The Keys is better than Tall Trees - for a start Tall Trees is a canny walk or taxi ride away, and generally full of teeny boppers with fake ID throwing up over a bawling bride or three. For a drink most of the pubs are nice but just that, pubs. For cocktails go to Hide (I don't think it's currently burnt down although they have a track record) which is down a little alley of shops with the post office next to Strickland & Holt. For pubs there is The Black Bull, George & Dragon and Union Arms. For the life of me I can't remember which is which once inside as they're all pretty generic local pubs but very busy on a weekend. You can drink in the bar underneath The Keys to cut the queue for entry upstairs.

  • Dinah you shatter my illusions! I've always thought of Tall Trees as this bizarre clubbing mecca. No idea why! It was just somewhere that people talked of in hushed tones in my yoof! And theres the signs for it all along the A19, no other club I know has proper road signs pointing the way!
Have a fab time Birdie :D
