Yeah, so does my geek self. The drive to pay off the debts atm isn't to pay them off, it's to see the numbers change!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think you have a lot on your place for November already to be honest
thanks Dinah but the problem is we've stopped OPing. when we had a lot of debt it was easy to think "yay £10. that can go off X debt" and we did everything we could to lower our debt. our debt now stands at just over £4k and we've slipped into "yay £10. let's get a takeaway/treat ourselves to something etc" so we're not actually making any inroads to the debt that's left. i'm afraid that it's going to make a mockery of all the hard work we've put in over the last 3 years so I do need a kick up the backside and a new baby is a great incentive. DD has already spend her whole life with her parents in debt (okay so she's only 4 but still). This new baby shouldn't have to as well.
so November goals
have baby (hopefully by the weekend)
finish christmas shopping
write christmas cards (i always leave this too late)
DH to apply for 0% CC
BT barcl4ycard to 0%
20 items sold on eb4y (not just listed but sold)
finish nursery (this will have to be done)
reduce the amount taken out of my pay for childcare vouchers
reduce DD's hours in nursery once baby is born
be brave and join make £10 a day thread instead of just lurking
that's all I can think of for now.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

I think I would only do £5 a day too. Do you manage to meet your target with Poppy?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Star your November list is big for someone who isn't going to be having a baby very soon! Don't push yourself, make sure you take lots of time to enjoy your new bundle and give your DD lots of love too!
OH has picked out the wellies he wants for Christmas... they're *only* £99! He can't be happy with a £20 pair of Ryedale ones from the local cheapy shop, oh no, he has to have neoprene lined Hunter wellies! Although I can't really say much, I want a pair of Muddz sparkly boots! Although I wonder if I could get some cheap plain wellies and bling them up...? Hmm will have to think about that one!
Oh and I thought I'd be really smart and dye the bridesmaid dress I wore in June to a dark blue and use it was my Christmas party dress, save a few quid, make use of a nice dress that just happens to be a dodgy colour so I won't wear it as it currently is... but it's 100% polyester so I can't dye it! Gutted!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Why does he want wellies for Christmas? I know he's a bloke but in his shoes (like my footwear humour?) Id rather have £20 wellies and £80 worth of real shoes . Granted he'd get some very funny looks in those but I just wanted an excuse to browse shoe !!!!!!. ETA. If he has to have fancy Hunter wellies, at least get them to clearly display their bling, like these
Okay I may just be turning your poor hubby into a shoe cross dresser now. Time to step away from KG.
