He (it is a he, right?) must be nice and happy in there, Star! I'm sure you'll be able to tick that one of your list any day now.
And my Sister's flying to Hamburg, so I guess there?! I have no idea really. I'll only be going for a few days so can manage with hand luggage. I think I might have to fly from a different airport though. I'll look at the flight checker, thanks!
Great start on your challenge, Tete! I did 6.5 miles yesterday off my 110. Going for an hour of yoga today so just aiming for 3 miles later on.0 -
Ooh shall we put bets on for when baby Starnac will arrive?! I think it'll be Friday
Well done on the C2C running challenge Tete! You'll be super fit by new year!
Wendz, I love Mad Men too much too! I really want to dress up as Betty or Joan (depending on how I'm feeling at the time!) for a costume party but no-one I know will get it! I also really want the Barbie dollsOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I guess saturday!
That would be such a cool costume. I love that they talk about stuff that we do at work, and they have one of the same clients haha! I wish we had massive offices where we could just drink all day :rotfl:.0 -
I feel I'm missing out on Mad Men. And Downton. I never quite catch on to these things!
Are you running 110 miles Cinny or just covering the distance whether walking, biking, whatever?
I'm going for a Firework Baby Star too - you'll have to call him GuidoWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Cinny, I'd google Hamburg Airport and see where they fly to on their flight scedule, work backwards that way and see which one is closest to you.
New tablets are destroying me. 4 hour nap yesterday, 12 hour sleep last night, and I swear I'm only awake because the rag and bone man has been past 3 times.GreenSaints wrote: »We are totally not on the same page, I'm totally aware of this. Maybe I filled in the SOA wrong - but that is how much we totally spend enough every year divided by 12 months. So for example we went to New York in May and everything included cost £500 each.
I earn more than him, but because I pay my student loan, have a share scheme and am taxed heavily (because of my car, medical) I only found out yesterday that we actually have the same take home pay! I pay £600 and he pays £450 into a joint account.
I was thinking about swapping our joint account from First Direct, if only for a money incentive. The only good thing about FD is that we are only charged interest when we are in our overdraft, no stupid overdraft daily fees like I'm charged at Santander (not this month - fingers crossed. Another 14 days to go!) I don't think anyone else does this, unless it's for a fee.
Dinah - you have 20mb fibre optic connection for £12? We are so far away from the exchange, the most we can get would be 5mb on normal broadband.
How on earth did you manage New York for £500 each? It cost us about £4000, it was over £150 a day just on food! Worth every penny mind.
I really think you should be paying the same into the joint account if your take home is the same. Otherwise this just enables him to be more wasteful with money.
Who bought him the car? I'm guessing they might actually be quite offended if he sold it.
HSBC don't charge us a monthly fee, only charge us interest on the OD we use. I wouldn't nessisarily swap from First Direct though as they're supposed to be the best.
We have 20mb, no idea if its fibre optic or normal. Given we live in the sticks I'd be suprised if we have fibre optic out here. All I know is we have no download limit, I can download a movie in 20mins and I don't have any lag on WoW.
I've started watching Pan Am Birdie as it's by the same people as Grey's Anatomy () and Private Practice. It hasn't really grabbed me though.
HATING the new MSE survey box which keeps popping up, it feels like spam.
I'm surprised we've got past the first of the month and no one has asked where the money update is yet....Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Aww sorry Star! Do you think he'll make an appearance soon? Would love it if you called him Guido! :rotfl:
I've totally missed out on Downton too Tete, on my list of things to watch! Mad Men's great, seasons 1 and 2 are only £7.99 each on Amazon and you'll be drooling over the clothes and hair... and Jon Hamm!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I'm glad Dinah said that about putting equal into the joint account - I would not be happy at all about the way it is but thought I might be being unreasonable as no-one else had mentioned it
Aww, was hoping I might be able to get Mad Men on free internet catch-up, no?
Yes money update and Nov goals pleaseWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I dunno where it is, I gave her the charts last night.
