And get the Lotso! You need to start collecting toys for your little addition so really you're being sensible now by spreading the cost!
I love the Animator dolls and wish I had a little girl to buy them for.
I told OH as soon as we find out I'm pregnant the first thing we're doing is going and buying the biggest Lotso possibleI know he's technically evil but he's strawberry scented! I love the Animator dolls too, they're only £15 at the moment. The Merida and Tiana ones are just too much! I remember how crazy everyone went for them last year, I was in the Disney Store with my Mum and "jokingly" said "Why don't you get Laura an Ariel and me a Belle?!" she just laughed and walked away
I bet you'll get some amazing presents while you're away, Birdie! Are you going to see Wrestling next week? Think I remember you mentioning it on twitter? OH is badgering about how this is the "first time we don't go see it and everything's happening" *rolly eyes*
But thanks Birdie & Wendz. I'm confident she'll be fineShe's a tough Yorkshire lass afterall! She did have us worried for a while though.

The Ariel doll is too cute! If there had been a Rapunzel available I'd have bought one, you know, just in case!
If they brought out smaller ones I'd be all over them.
We're not going to see the wrestlingThere's just too much to do in not enough time and OH couldn't take any more days off work since he's only supposed to take 10 days in a row (obviously discounting weekends) and he's already booked 11 for our holiday (oo-er, call the police!
). Wish we could have gone to see it though; one day I'll get to shout 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' in Daniel O'Brian's face!
My Mum has given us some money to get ourselves some Christmas presents whilst we're away and OH is so excited as he wants use his money to build his own lightsabre in the Star Wars shop! :rotfl: Big kids, us? No!Not decided on what I'll be spending mine on... sensible brain says nice clothes, silly brain says Mickey Mouse ears and other random Disney crap!!

Sorry to hear about your Nannan Cinny (I've never heard that before, is it a Yorkshire thing?) Will be keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't miss Christmas.
I had to google the Animator dolls as I hadn't heard of them. Is it wrong that I find them a bit scary? Watching Child's Play as a kid really did leave a mark on me! Love the Lotso though, I would be very tempted!

It was a Hallowe'en special and they do silly little films of them in training and for some reason Lisa and her partner went to Leavesden Studios to get in the witchy spirit! Not been watching X Factor this year, I'm a Strictly girl and loving it!

TMI alert. Please look away if you have a nervous disposition!!!! :eek:shrimpy_80 wrote: »Morning everyone, and thank you so so much for all your kind words and thoughts yesterday. You have made me well up at my desk this morning! Your positive thoughts did the trick, the scan confirmed that the tumour is teeny tiny (about 1/3 of a matchstick) and the consultant is as confident as he can be that it will all be successfully removed in an operation and hopefully there will be no need for further treatment. I have to have a radical trachelectomy (don't google it if you're eating your breakfast!) and he wants to remove my nymph nodes from the area to ensure they are clear, but there is no indication that the cancer has spread to them at this stage. Best of all, this is a fertility-preserving treatment so theoretically, pregnancy is still a viable option for the future, although it comes with increased risk of miscarriage/premature birth and will obviously mean a c-section delivery.
So glad you got the best possible news shrimpy. A friend of mine has been just through something similar. With regards to the risk of miscarriage/ prem birth this can sometimes be caused by what they actually do during the op. my friend's op meant that her cervix didn't meet which meant that there would be a gap when she got pregnant. This would cause miscarriage as the baby would fall through at very early stages. My friend was advised to see her doctor as soon as she found out she was pregnant so that she could go and have a stitch put in. She did this and the stitch was taken out at 37 weeks and she had a very healthy pregnancy and actually went overdue so she carried the baby with no problem at the later stages.
Just wanted to share this so that you are aware that there are ways around things.

Gosh, that's really interesting Starnac! Wonderful what they can do now and lovely that your friend had a lovely healthy baby.
Got my phone which is a big yay, but I can't play with it as it needs a micro SIM which I don't have so have to wait for one to arrive! Grrr. Thank you Starnac, and lovely news for your friend
Hopefully the TMI alert is still in force - the consultant said they will put a stitch in during the op as I think they will be removing quite a lot. I will be going for my pre-op in the next few weeks though so will ask more then - was a lot to take in yesterday, not helped by the fact the consultant kept drawing little sketches to explain what he was talking about on my notes - I just kept thinking, please stop drawing cervixes everywhere! And I had to have yet another examination while poor OH sat looking at the floor, slightly awkward!
And that is definitely enough TMI for one day! At least I know that when/if I do get pregnant I will already have lost all my dignity and be used to the poking and prodding!
Hope your SIM comes soon Birdie, how frustrating! Glad you got the phone though, presumably the SIM will just be normal postbox sized unless they send it in some fancy-schmancy packaging?
Hope you managed to make your appointment ROTE. I don't think anyone rushes to the phone as soon as they get the letter!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Glad to hear the positive news Shrimpy!
Hope OH's Nan is ok Cinny!
Only tomorrow left at work and then I'm off to Budapest. To be honest it's going to be a bit of a make or break holiday for me and OH. He went all weird on me again yesterday and I don't know how much longer I can put up with it. I would not be surprised if I'm looking for somewhere new to live this time next week. But I shall remain positive and hope that a change of scenery will help us work things out.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
