Have you seen the festive jumpers in Primark?! They're amazing! There are even festive leggings for a full body look! Will be getting a jumper at some point before christmas. :D

Oh Gracie's Christmas stuff sounds too cute! Exciting to think that in one month you'll be putting your tree up! Grace will love it! :) Hope Poppy leaves yours alone this year Wendz! ;)

Not good about the cat escaping Shrimpy! The tiny Dracula sounds adorable though, worth having to crawl around afterwards! :)

Got my SIM, yay! Now I just have to work out what the frick I'm doing... :o

Very well done on the car insurance Wendz! :T

For the first time in a long time, a to do list. If I don't cross at least 5 things off this today please yell at me. Or Grace, because I was playing with her instead of getting on with things.

3 blog posts 1 done, 1 half done, doesn't count
    5 ebay listings
    send mum £44
call respiratory clinic check appointment is with right consultant
    new insurance quotes for truck
    find mot certificate
do November budget and money shuffle

    [STRIKE]Reply to 2 FB emails [/STRIKE]
    [strike]GR report[/strike]
[STRIKE]tesco collection order for tomorrow to use up vouchers[/STRIKE]
Complete first craft fair item (and post photo to prove I completed it!)
Sort out all the Grace photos - week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4 to start with
Make pumpkin soup Made chicken and mushroom soup... I think I'll count this
    [STRIKE]Load through washer[/STRIKE]/on radiators/get stuff off line

And an extra to be added on:
Contact payroll (tried to do this on the number I know last week, but the number has been disconnected)

Moral of the story, I have poor follow through. I think I can count that as 4.5.... right, going to go do the GR report and go to bed. Tomorrow is another day.

Got the new buggy though, Babystyle Oyster in purple (or grape I think they call it) - very pleased with it, it's like a more manageable icandy, but actually it's better thought out, the seat almost fully reclines and it has a built in sunshade net. Really hope we can go for a walk in it tomorrow, but Grace has a hospital appointment at 11 and another at 2.40 so it might be dark by the time we're done.

Was a bit gutted that I couldn't pay for the buggy with the Amex though for points, they don't accept it. Would have been nice to have the extra 300 or so. Considering I need about 61,000 points to get my two return flights to New York I need all the help I can get!

You are doing well with the list! My Mum looked after Poppy Monday and said she forgot how hard it is to do anything with a small child lol.

I have seen the oyester before and they are really nice, hopefully it will work out better for you.

When are ypu hoping to go to new york?

Hurrah for getting a new buggy! Hope you get out for a nice walk. :)

Well done on the list, even though you didn't get 5 things done, at least you're 4.5 down! :)

Last day at work for 2 weeks, eeep! Got my nails done last night and they're all Disney-fied, bottom half shimmery white, top half sparkly red with white polka dots, little black lines separating the colours with a little bow and on my ring fingers a Mickey Mouse! They're too darn cute! :D

Gosh, 61,000 points to get to NY?! How much is that in real money? Do they do extra points deals that you can take advantage of? Shame not everywhere takes Amex.

Hope the house is perfect Shrimpy! :)

Yay Birdie, love the sound of your nails, super excited for you!

Shrimpy, fingers crossed for the house hunting. I was thinking about you last week, so sorry you're having to go through this, but very pleased to hear that it's the 'best' outcome (as it were) and that your OH is being lovely and supportive.

Dinah, I'm still in complete awe of how you're handling everything that's being thrown at you - it must be so tough and so scary, but it seems that you come back after each hurdle with more determination than ever. Grace is amazing! As someone else said, it's completely natural for new mums to worry about their babies, even when they're perfectly healthy, so just try to enjoy being the brill mum that you are.

Hope you can get out and about with the new buggy soon :)

Wendz, the reindeer onesie sounds supercute! It will be so exciting to have Poppy at the age where she'll *really* enjoy Christmas. Also, meant to say, I know the place you've booked for your hen do - it's brill and they have great cake!

I've been reading, but literally not finding a minute to stop and post! It's silly. Work is busy, but good, I'm just bogged down with stupid life admin at the moment. I'm just trying to sort my car insurance too - god, isn't that just the most annoying job in the world! I think I've got a good quote for about £280, which is less than last year and about £300 less than my current renewal figure! Stupid. Have been putting aside money every month in a 'car' pot, but it's pretty much wiped out by tax, MOT, service and insurance all due this month!

So there you go, that's my money update :)

Big hello & hugs to everyone else too!

The nails sound fab Birdie! Bet you are sooo excited!

Poddle - lovely to see you! Hope you aren't working too hard. Car stuff is rubbish isn't it. Well done on finding a better quote though.

Definately looking forward to her understanding a bit more this year, makes it even more exciting.
