Wow that place looks amazing Wendz! We've been talking about doing a couple of stops in America (or just Disney!) for our honeymoon, when we eventually get round to organising stuff.
That wedding that I was invited to and then wasn't was this past weekend and I'm kind of glad we didn't go. Managed to offload the hotel room to another couple that were going but apparently things weren't very well organised and there were a lot of problems with the food.
Going to the gym for the first time tonight. OH can take a guest for free to his work one so we've agreed to go Tues, Thurs and Sat for the next couple of weeks and see how it goes...
Hope everyone is doing ok and hugs to those that need them!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

This is what we want to do but I don't know if we will manage it now (OH is convinced we will but I think he is hoping for a money tree to appear!) I haven't mentioned it as I haven't been on here properly for a while but we are starting to view houses this week. We did the silliest thing imaginable and set our hearts on one already, just had a phone call to cancel the viewing as it has soldas has the one we liked second best
so I am resigning myself to some stressful times ahead! I know its very silly when we hadn't even seen it and there will be other houses, but still feeling cheesed off! One of our friends lives in an opposite house with the same layout so we kind of felt that we knew it already, if that makes sense. Bah!
Anyway three more viewings booked so at worst I get to have a good nose around other people's homes!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

Good news about looking for a house Shrimpy, not good about the ones you liked selling! These things happen for a reason though and I'm sure the perfect house will appear when the time is right!
Sounds like you didn't miss much with the wedding Ruby! It's good that you managed to sell the room on too!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Ruby - sounds like a lucky escape from that wedding.
Shrimpy - so annoying about the house but hope you manage to find one perfect for you soon.0 -
Can't believe you are off so soon Birdie, no wonder you are excited!!! I am still daydreaming about all the bargains at Woodbury Commons and Century 21. Lol!
Shrimpy - so sorry to hear about the houses. Am a firm believer in 'what's for you won't pass you'. Think of all the money you are saving towards furniture etc while you are looking around.
Ruby - sounds like the wedding was a disaster. Am so glad you didn't go.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Sorry about the house Shrimpy! I keep looking online even though we're ages away from being able to buy and have fallen in love many times over!
Anyone seen pictures of Jack Osbourne's wedding? I love the dress his wife is wearing! Might have to pick up a copy of Hello to find out more about the designer!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Oh my days NIM that is fab news. It sounds like this will have a really positive impact on your little family.
I have been rather busy tiling the bathroom floor. Well that's not quite right, I haven't actually started the tilling part yet. I have laid the insulation and put down the under floor heating and it should be ready to start tiling tonight.
I was very proud of OH at the weekend when he managed to get 35 pound off the tiles. He just asked the topps tiles man 'so what's the best price you can do". It didn't even cross my mind to ask, so it just shows you. OH said "see I am getting better at this money saving thing". Bless him, he managed to get 150 pound off field gates last month.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

Morning ladies, thanks for the house wishes, I like to think that what's for you won't pass you too, thanks cmd x
Just looked up Mrs Osbourne's dress, couldn't find a pic of the bottom though, is it full length? V pretty. Wasn't so keen on Ozzy's tie though, hideous!
I will post a pic of my dress at some point, but the one on the website looks rubbish and I can't find any nicer ones, I don't want to do it a disservice! Had a sneaky try on with my friend on Saturday and still like it (although I still haven't seen it in a full length mirror) My sis is home in 2 and a bit weeks so I will finally get a proper try on!
Well done to your OH ROTE! Mine is a devil for haggling (although not terribly MSE overall), I always get really embarassed though, I can't help it! He thinks he's Dominic Littlewood
