I was a lot nicer about things than you are! I wouldn't say I earn a LOT more, only about £400-£500 more which isn't a huge amount at the end of the day.
Your take home is the bones of 50% higher than mine, and with this auto enrollment mines going to go down. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
My OH would be the same if he was at home so totally understand that.
Hope Grace is feeling a bit better . They all seem to have their off days. Poppy was a nightmare yesterday. Kept dragging me to the kitchen by my hand (hew new thing) and demanding food and screaming if i wouldn't give her any.0 -
I'm reassured to hear sometimes they just have off days for no reason.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Does anyone have a pin of something I can make for a wedding in a week's time as a gift? They've asked for money, which with my cousin's I went along with, however this is a woman who said she didn't like following wedding lists as it was unoriginal and then gave us a wildly exciting steamer for ours (which was massive, fit in no cupboards and we sold) which was £11 on Amazon. So given she thinks following what the couple want/need is unoriginal, I need something I can do that she can't google the price of, that will be ready by the weekend. Yes, I'm very aware this is an unhealthy 'friendship'.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Shame you sold the steamer, you could have given it back :rotfl:
Could you maybe sew something small out of fabric scraps - hearts or similar with lavender in them? Little bit of ribbon to hang them up in the wardrobe, doneDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I remember - they were lovely
Can understand that may have put you off now though!
Maybe Birdie could give you a nice idea for something papercrafty? Seem to remember she makes some lovely things.
Or have you got anything you could re-gift?Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I snorted coffee over the monitor and keyboard reading this after D, myself and MIL made a LOAD of them for the nurses on the NICU.This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

I remembered this after Dinah said. This thread is clearly not the place to mention fabric hearts :rotfl:Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Hi all,
Am off to New York this week. Can't wait! And OH finally so was able to hand in his notice last week so will be coming to Ireland at the end of November. We are thrilled
Dinah - not sure where to start. Well done on eBay. My OH couldn't be a SAHD either. He said he would be driven mad in about a week. I think most men like working to be honest. Not sure what to suggest really. Could you go part-time? Would you be able to afford that? What about a childminder coming to your house - less chance of ill-health for Grace. I have been offered a 16 hr week in the job I did during the summer and will start that after Xmas. I think I will get a childminder. I can work from home but I want my evenings free and can't do work with 2 tots around!
They all have off days. Evie was in very bad form after coming back from hols last week and she is usually very placid. Max is always prone to drama and tantrums. But that's just him really!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
