Yay Shrimpy! The almost wedding date is very nice news
It will absolutely fly by.
Wendz, did you say you'd already chosen your dress? Can we have a peek?!
Cinny, glad you're treating yourself to a day out - you work hard, you deserve it! I, on the other hand, don't have enough guilt about treating myself
I know OH doesn't resent it at all (it's not like I'm blowing £100s a week) but I'm really looking forward to having my own salary again.
Really sweet idea about making husky cards too, Cinny
Dinah & NIM, really glad you've got your girl home again
. Pretty impressive that you're already back on track money-wise. A couple of slip ups are totally understandable and I really agree with what you said after your Grandad's funeral - enjoy life! You more than anyone understand how precious it is x
Birdie, I think that's fair enough about the half marathon. $170 sounds pretty steep anyway - put it towards your next trip
Wow, not that long til you go! If you get some good news beforehand does that mean you won't be able to go on any of the rides?!
Ruby, that's the rudest thing I've ever heard! Can't believe your friend would do that - hope you can get someone to take the room; otherwise just enjoy your weekend away

What do you mean? Like who you like
I'm just a heel girl, bar Cena purely through respect and Zack Ryder because he's adorable. Did you watch the documentary on C4 a couple weeks back about the Knight family? Their daughter is doing so well on NXT now, can't wait until there's a not only another 'proper' Diva, but another English wrestler on RAW/Smackdown
I don't really know who's a goodie and who's a baddie... and I like to root for the goodies!
We did get everyone in Bierkeller chanting 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' with the arm movements on Saturday night, was class!
I saw that documentary, agree that it's nice to see an English girl doing so well! Her brother was a bit of an idiot though. We've been to one of those lame wrestling shows run by a family just like the Knights, it was terrible yet great!
Hope you'll share pics of your husky cards when you do them!

I won't be allowed on the big scary rides, but anything that doesn't have a height restriction is OK, so I'll be going crazy on the kiddy rides!
Wouldn't be bad TBH, although I love rollercoasters it'd be nice to go with a more relaxed approach and spend more time just wandering around and enjoying all of the shows

It's going ok so far. Venue and registrar are booked and have my dress , photographer booked as well. Haven't really done anything last few weeks. Have made myself a timeline of when i want to do things.

. Next time i am at my mums i will write down the name of it and see if i can find a pic online! 0 -
Had a lovely day out with Grace today at Fountains Abbey (Birdie, do you work at a plumbing place beginning with a W but one of the buildings looks like it used to have a sign beginning with a P on it? I could be way off but I swear you once said you worked in a plumbing company and I drove past today and wondered if we were feet away from you). Photos here if anyone wants to see Gracie girl on her day out. If the weather holds and my skin gets less red we might go to the beach tomorrow for a walk.
Because we've been out enjoying the sunshine and maternity leave no progress in any form on money things today. Well that's a lie, I got a letter saying Medicash are paying us a further £1000 for Grace's hospital stay and my parental stay. I should have had a further 4 nights of my own stay from when I was admitted for the tumour thing, not sure whether to chase that up or if I'm just being cheeky? It's another £200. I can't believe how easy it's all been with them.
Did spend £44 today on National Trust membership, but I can claim that back as a business expense. Speaking of, I pitched a few product ideas today to the guy I was doing those printed cake cases through (STILL have no packaging to actually sell them in shops) and they were well received, I've been asked to do some mock ups. If they're taken on it won't be a case of me doing them through my company and having the hassle of sales, invoices, delivery etc, I will simply be paid a royalty for every sale. I could certainly live with background income like that! I have a bit more faith that selling this way will actually happen as he has a lot more to gain from it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The pics are gorgeous , she is so beautiful and lovely to see you having some family time.
That is good news about the medicash payment.
The business ideas sound good too, getting money but none of the hassle sounds great.0 -

The photos are lovely, hope Gracie enjoyed it! Were you humming the Harry Potter music as you were walking around?! We always do as it reminds us of the Hogwarts courtyard!
You're also spot on about where I work, I'm in the office block next to the big warehouse, I could have waved if I'd known you were passing!
Great stuff about the Medicash payment, you're definitely getting your money's worth from them! :T
Love the idea of getting royalties for your designs, a great way to get a nice background income.
Hurry up and get the name of your dress Wendz, want to see!!!
Not impressed this morning; two of my friends and I have got a hairdresser organised for tomorrow to do our hair for the wedding we're going to and the hairdresser (a mobile one with no real overheads) originally said it'd be between £25-£40 each depending on complexity and we've all gone for fairly simple styles so expected the cost to be pretty low and she said she'd knock some off as there are 3 of us... and she's just e-mailed my friend this morning to quote us £40 each! I've never paid more than £25 for a fancy do but it's too late to find an alternative! My friend is hopping mad! :mad:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That's insane, Birdie!! I'd have emailed her back and said 'thanks, but no thanks' couldn't you all just do each others hair? Says the girl who was cutting her own hair in the bathroom mirror this morning
Joys of a pixiecut!
Saw the pictures on FB last night Dinah, she's really got a look of NIM about her. Which begs the question, how on earth is she so cute?
Good news on the medicash pay out though, they do seem like a really good company!
Was wondering how the business was going! That sounds like a far better plan, way less stress.
Has anyone got any nice weekend plans? OH wants to go too a place in Sheffield that has a food challenge *rolly eyes* No prizes for guessing the Man.v.Food fan in my house! Just hoping the weather stays nice so we can take Ryder on some good walks, and possibly meet up with some other husky owners

People keep saying this about her, poor girl, and I just don't see it. Shes got her mothers nose, and their cheeks are identical when D was that age.
And you've some cheek young lady.:mad::mad::DThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Whomever Gracie takes after, she's clearly got the best of you both as she's too cute for words!

Hair-mare is sorted; my other friend has managed to get us all booked into a salon tomorrow morning for £30 each and we're cancelling the other woman!
Not really a good idea doing each other's hair as we're all a bit fingers-and-thumbsy, we've tried and failed that approach before!
