Yey for wedding booked Shrimpy! Sure the next year will fly by.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well done on all the driving Shrimpy! How exciting about (almost) booking the wedding too! Glad you enjoyed the HP tour, I'm totally jealous but very proud of you geeking out over it!
I wonder if the Butterbeer is the same as at Universal? They've got regular and slushy types over there... and they're both super sweet and sickly and a bit gross but a bit awesome all at the same time!
Oh and I love the whole tables-named-after-wrestlers thing! Will have to mention that to OH's friend who is completely obesessed with WWE & TNA!
Bummer about the money woes Archers, hope you get the expenses paid quickly!
Don't feel too bad about your day out Cinny, you don't seem to do an awful lot just for you so enjoy it! It's not like you'll be spending *that* after all and I'm sure your OH won't begrudge you it! Happy half birthday to Ryder for Friday!
I can't believe that you've not been invited to the wedding Ruby! How rude after making you book a room! I second Dinah's suggestion to try to pass it onto someone who is going. Also, isn't it a bit weird to invite people on the hen weekend who aren't coming to the actual wedding?! Is it a super small family only thing?
Hope your brother and his GF can play nice for that long Dinah! Like the idea of sending them for a long walk off a short pier if they start to play up!
Oh and we've decided not to do the half marathon when we go away
It's a lot of money to enter (about $170 each!) and OH's knee might not be up to it. Last time we were there he suffered with it just from all of the walking on pavements so it's likely that running that far will really cause havoc and we don't want to risk ruining the rest of the holiday for him.
We're also keeping our fingers crossed that I won't be in a fit state to run too of course
It's a shame but we don't want to waste money and risk losing a few days of our holiday just so we can say we did it. Only 87 days to go now! :j Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. No it's not a small wedding, I think she's invited like 150 people. Saw on facebook she was asking people if they were coming or not, so might get re-invited.
Way to go on having a date though Shrimpy! My future MOH keeps bugging me to just set a date because she wants to help me plan! She's also going to this hen weekend and not been invited to the wedding...it's just really strange I think!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Sounds like you have made the right decision on the marathon Birdie, not worth risking spoiling part of your holiday and nothing to say you can't do it one day in the future if you want to.
That is really odd Ruby, I wonder if her parents have had a say in the guest list and bumped people off to make room for their friends? My friend had a tussle along those lines, and her parents pretty much paid for everything so it was a funny one. In the end there were a couple of dropouts so it all worked out.
We are having a little party on Friday to celebrate our pre-anniversary

I'd be sooo annoyed if that happened to me Ruby! Like Birdie said, kind of weird inviting people to the hen do then not to the wedding? Hope you get it sorted!
Hope that date gets set in stone, Shrimpy! Like Dinah said, I bet the year will fly by
Oh and I love the whole tables-named-after-wrestlers thing! Will have to mention that to OH's friend who is completely obesessed with WWE & TNA!
I like the sound of this friend! I've got my Sister into WWE now, she luuurves John Cena. Love the sound of the wrestling tables, if OH ever makes an honest woman out of me I might steal that idea!
OH isn't bothered about me going to London, it's just me! He has plenty of boys nights out, I'm just used to having people over, cooking tea, throwing trashy tele on while we gossi.. discuss life choices *ahem* Should be able to work a couple more shifts to get extra pennies though, I'll be reet
Your holiday seems to be speeding around quickly, Birdie!!0 -
Your holiday seems to be speeding around quickly, Birdie!!
You're telling me! Last time I checked it was over 100 days away! :j
I get very confused over who I'm supposed to like and not like in WWE. I don't watch it enough to really figure it out either! I do love the song they're using for Summerslam though!

Good to hear how well little Grace is doing.
Hope everything financy manages to sort itself out, considering all that is going on you are bound to have hiccups. I think you are doing brilliantly.
Ruby - that is awful. I would never tell people they were invited and then uninvite them.
Cinny - Happy half birthday to Ryder on Friday! I feel abd about doing stuff for myself as well. I feel guilty for buying clothes or going out for dinner when OH will happily do it.
Shrmimpy - so excited, 2 weeks after me, we can do countdown together!
Birdie - i agree is probably for the best about the half marathon.0 -

Glad it's not just me, Wendz! Pulled in a couple jobs yesterday so have £40 in my spare purse for the trip, would like to have too much over just enough so going to see what comes up in the next few days

What do you mean? Like who you like
I'm just a heel girl, bar Cena purely through respect and Zack Ryder because he's adorable. Did you watch the documentary on C4 a couple weeks back about the Knight family? Their daughter is doing so well on NXT now, can't wait until there's a not only another 'proper' Diva, but another English wrestler on RAW/Smackdown
No wins yet, Dinah. I keep getting odd bits in the post which is nice
But I'm rushed off my feet seemingly 24/7 now, any spare time I get now is spent either drawing (I'm planning on selling husky themed Christmas cards to raise breed awareness, and profits will go to a husky rescue.) or having a cat nap, so I haven't had the time. Quiet day at work today though, so I'm going to try and get some entered. 0 -
