Ooohh exciting news about Grace! It shouldn't take *that* long for the home oxygen to be fitted. Although I also feel sorry for the cat!

I cannot believe that anyone would take their mother on a date....I'm glad I'm out of the dating pool so to speak. I don't know how I would meet anyone I thought was worth it nowadays!

Hope you've all had a good day, my boss kidnapped me at lunch and took me out for a picnic. Was kind of strange but nice to get out of the office! Think I might try and treat myself to something on payday, although I don't know what!

Tete, whenever you have a dodgy date you can at least say, 'Well at least he didn't bring his Mum!' :p

    True that! :D

That's SO exciting about Grace!! Still can't wait to see the nursery :)

Aww, that's sweet of your boss Ruby! I remember when my Dad used to buy me cakes when I was at work. Now? Nadda :( No ideas at all on what you'll treat yourself to?

Got a winning email this afternoon to say I've won a recipe book :T My life is just so thrilling.

Well I am hoping it is just an antibiotic thing, was told i need to have 3 infections before they take it out and this would be the second.

That is hilarious Star, your poor sister!

Well done on the win Cinny!

Great news about Grace coming home! Ye both must be thrilled!

I wouldn't worry too much about the weighloss Dinah. You probably didn't lose that much because you were at the hospital. Once Grace is off the oxygen and you can bring her for walks etc you will probably find that it drops off fairly quickly. I walk everywhere with my 2 and my pregnancy weight dropped off within a couple of weeks with both of them.

Am a huge fan of walking, walking walking!

Had a look at the pictures of Grace last night after silly work internet blocked them - just wanted to say she is beautiful :)

She looks like a totally different baby, she looks so much stronger :)

Enter everything, because then you have to win something! Even if it is a bacon crisper :D Got a box of chocolate cheerios last night :T

Hope the dentist can fix you tomorrow, Wendz. Can't believe you have to wait until the 3rd infection before they pull. Seems harsh! How're you feeling today?

Can only echo CMD about walking! Totally different for me because I'm not pushing a wheelie machine, but I'm definitely feeling the health benefits of walking Ryder everywhere :) Speaking of the little devil, he's grown so much since I last posted a photo I thought I'd update you.. and he looks puppy-handsome in this photo :D He weighs over 20kg now, was 2.86kg when we got him!

Awww he's getting so big now Cinny! :)

Went for my first training jog last night... was quite a painful experience! I'm so unfit! Ended up being a brisk walk with little spurts of running and a lot of attractive gasping for air! :o At least I got out there and did it though, it's a start! :)

Oh and it must be *that* time of year again, our kn0bhead friends have invited us to theirs for a BBQ and the invite says 'Bring beer and food'. So they're supplying the fire then?! Great. Really need to think of a tactful way of telling them that they're d!cks and most people don't need to be told to bring drinks and burgers when they go to a BBQ because it's just good manners. Just because at the last 4 parties we've had they've turned up over an hour late, empty handed, doesn't mean that normal people act like that! We've barely seen them this year because they're always 'too busy' to go to any of our friend's get-togethers and it's been bliss! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

They don't really sound like friends to me - I wouldn't bother going if they can't be bothered to go to others because they're too busy, I'd say the same:D

Come on, please try the wrecking ball level of subtlety. I'll even write you a bullet point list of things to say to tell them. I'll also bring studio grade equipment to record it all. :D:D:D

Just tell them to get stuffed.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
