I'm sure if I moved weigh in to Sundays I'd be doing a lot better. Mondays I seem to gain again! Official weigh in is that I lost another 1.4lbs this week (2.8lbs if I had a Sunday weigh in *grumbles *)

To be honest, I won't be. She suddenly and mysteriously got too "ill" to come for tea with everyone. Ended up taking it out on my Brother instead, which I'm not awfully proud of but as she always goes into hiding when confrontation's about it's the only way to get word to her. Anyways, it's all been said now so I guess things just have to work themselves out.

Cinny, next time you see her just go all DX on her and it'll be problem solved. You'll never see her again, ryder will have been avenged and dear lord will it be cathartic for you. :rotfl::rotfl:

Love the look of that thread, Shrimpy. Given me lots to think over in terms of money making, although it's more to survive next month just on my wage than pay debt off :o Saw Mr Scrap Man and got £100 this weekend so my current challenge is to make that last as long as possible :)

But bless your Mum and Dad! :rotfl: Love family stories like that :D

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend Birdie, what's the gossip?! Must be juicy if you can't look them in the eye. Gossip is one of my five a day, I had to ask! :o

Well done on your weightloss, Dinah! And who knows, that 1.4lb might pop back off the scales next Monday and you'll have a really big loss to shout from the roof tops :)

:rotfl: I never thought of that! Much better than my first idea of hiring a fat man to do stinky faces on her for 3 hours straight. Save me some pennies :money:

But sadly I don't think he'll give her the elbow, he's too gullible. He made it crystal clear last night he's not bothered what family member she upsets any more as long as his princess is protected. He did apologise for shouting at me, but it obviously wasn't sincere because once he clicked on I wasn't backing down and still expected her to say sorry he got the bum on with me again. Anyways, bar a family holiday in October when I have to be civil to her for the sake of my Mums 50th, I'm 110% done with her. So hopefully no more horrible girlfriend drama for moi :j

Morning all :) Where did the weekend go?!

Second you on the weightloss Dinah - my official weigh in today shows 1lb gain :( yet Saturday's showed 4lb loss! Starting to wonder about the scales actually.

Going to start the Halcombe diet next Monday (after payday so we can actually afford to buy some food!) anyone else done this?

Annoyingly work internet has blocked the photos of Grace and I wanna see! Will check at home tonight.

Tete - hope the date went well :)

Archers - glad the car wasn't really stolen. Sorry, I did laugh at that story :D

Cinny - poor Ryder :( Sounds like she needs a good kick, see how she likes it!

Birdie - nice you got your weekend to yourself :)

You have two things to do then, cut ties with them both completely, but whenever you meet up make it clear you will go out of your way to upset the hell out of her until she apologises. Kicking an animal is disgusting and if she's happy to do that then she deserves no better treatment...uhoh, blood boiling now.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

WOW, your bros oh is so bad shes got me angry, impressive!

beccie, we've done it before, it works REALLY well for me. I dropped over a stone on it, then got married to the worlds most amazing baker and put it all back on...and then some.

I'll weigh in tomorrow, not expecting a good loss though :o

OK... the goss! The chap who's temporarily working on our team was made redundant from the company earlier in the year, had a few months off looking for a job without success then we hired him back on a contract basis as we needed an extra hand on our team for 6 months. BUT on his leaving do, not expecting to ever come back obviously, after a few drinks he confessed to one of the guys in the office in confidence-who then immediately told my friend- that at a Christmas party the year before last he and my manager has gotten very drunk and ended up... doing the dirty! I've been wondering why things are a little awkward and kind of 'forced-extra-niceness' between them and now I know! They're both married BTW! Shocking. Ooooh I do love gossip! :)

    What's a DX?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

NIM and I both did Harcombe, worked well for him, I ended up majorly dehydrated as I hate plain water. I'd have done okay if I could drink squash or milk or fruit juice... anything but water really! I also found it quite hard having to cut out so much fruit which is my usual snack. We still try to use some of the vague principles in our current diet, carbs or fats in a meal for example, NIM more so than me though.

Good morning! Man I'm tired, I did an 8 mile run yesterday (first time going so far without stopping) and still haven't recovered from it despite sleeping like a dead log last night. Spent most of my first day of level 2 of the Shred dithering and not knowing what I was doing this morning :o BUT have lost another 2lbs this week :D taking me under 11st, phew. Well done on your loss too Dinah, I managed not to be tempted onto the scales before this morning, I've a feeling I was lighter a few days ago!

Cinny what exactly happened? Did she just kick him for no reason?

How's your tooth today Wendz? Toothache is the worst thing ever :(

Birdie, have you thought about the Couch to 5k programme to build you up gradually?

Susie, I'm intrigued by the figure in your sig - why £7320? It's payday tomorrow and I need to do some serious looking at my bank accounts, have fallen off the £2012 in 2012 wagon something rotten this month.

Date went OK, he's just some bloke off the internet. He was nice enough but didn't have that spark really. And I don't mean spark between us, but a spark about himself if you know what I mean? I'm trying to say this without sounding like a d.ck but he just didn't seem clever or interesting enough for me, I feel like I could make a dry joke and he wouldn't get it, you know? Trouble is, in intenet land, any men who are clever and interesting (and good looking :o) also tend to be really full of themselves, so it's finding a balance.
(Hope I didn't make myself sound full of myself there :o)

Ooooooooooooooh, that is juicy!! Although if that was me my problem wouldn't be looking at them in the eye, it would be not dropping little jibs and jokes about it into the conversation :o

That is an impressive diet! I just did the whole classic "more" diet - more exercise, more water, more fruit and veg! Lost 10lb a month, which is good going but it took a lot of effort, 24/7! Don't think I could be bothered to do it again.

Tete - As far as I'm aware Ryder was being calm, all he did was walk into the living room and must have headed towards her as to as 'hello! you smell of horses!' I want to think she was just trying to predict him jumping, kicked her leg out to knock him back like you would push him with your hand and caught him funny which made him cry out. But you apologise after an accident, instinctively. How she's been afterwards, and how she was really angry with him before and after the incident, has just left me thinking the worse. But knowing she's purposely pushed him way too hard before, I feel like I'm the one that should have got kicked for being stupid enough to let Ryder trot off around her :(

But you don't sound full of yourself at all, Tete. Don't be silly! My Sister was just the same with guys she dated so I get what you mean :) At least it got you back into the game though, your next date will be a lot better I'm sure! Well done on the weight loss too :j
