The hen do sounds brilliant Poddle! I have always wanted to go to lucky voice. Loving the 50's theme as well.
Birdie - how horrible about what happened. Ifyou enjoy your other session at lunch then i would just not go back. At least they are making an effort but doesn't sound much fun.0 -
Happy one month birthday Grace, I can't believe its been a month already! And eeek on the stitches Dinah!
Birdie, I don't think I'd go back if I was you. It sounds like the group dynamic is very competitive and that isn't my cup of tea at all. But I am a sulker
Poddle your hen sounds fab! Have a cocktail for me! Can we have pics after?
Good MSE news from me for once, its payday today and my overdraft is no moreand there is money in my house deposit fund
(rest of my debt is at 0% so going to save and pay it off at the same time). I will have to get resourceful for spends throughout the month I think, but it'll be worth it!

Well done on paying off the overdraft Shrimpy! That is great that you can now save.
Payday for me too and i got a tiny pay rise, not much but every little helps and the extra can all go in the wedding fund.
Not got much planned for the weekend. OH is working till 3 am but is off sat and sun. I expect the weather will be awful so don't know what we will do.0 -
Hello chicas - hope everyone is well! Tiny payrise here too Wendz, just about covers the increase in petrol cost to get there every day
Well done on the OD Shrimpy - must be so nice to see it all in the black!
How exciting that your wedding is so soon Poddle, seems to have come around very quickly (this whole year has gone v quickly) I think you definitely need some !!!!!! - hope you get sorted with your skirt!
That's horrible Birdie, stuff like that feels like bullying and always makes me feel terrible (I don't think I'm exaggerating there, am I?). I think NIM gave a logical answer though. You never know, if you go back they might coach you as you hoped - maybe they've realised how mean they were being? This is why I love my little running group so much - we are all ages and abilities and everyone is applauded whether they finish in 16 minutes or 60 - at a race recently the chairman of a 'serious' running club said we were a breath of fresh air
No plans here this wknd apart from running, conserving my energy a bit as I'm in London next weekendHope Gracie's still doing well, she's looking stronger! x

Enjoy your hen do Poddle.
Would be working on a money update for you, but I can't find my bank logon machine.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Everyone should have got a small pay increase as the tax personal allowance has increased and has the student loan repayment threshold has increased so if youre paying one back, you're now paying back less!0
-
Ahh that would explain why i got more than i thought even with the payrise!0

My pay is significantly less than I'm used to, it seems like a lot less than 90% pay! On the plus side we still had nearly £200 left after the great money shuffle. Will pull together all my numbers to do a big update after the 1st, this weekend my time at home is only being used to make the most of ebay free listing.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That is good news you had money left after the money shuffle! Seems like things are still ticking along ok.
Grace looks like she is doing so well, how much does she weigh now?0 -
She's a chunky 2lbs 12oz now (1.26kg) - she can go from her incubator to a cot at 1.5kg if she's breathing okay, and she can come home at 1.8kg
