I know i can't believe it. This time last year I was getting pains but didn't know it was the start of labour!

Can't believe it's been a year either, my friend's son went past the 18 months marker last month and it still doesn't feel like that long since she even told us she was expecting!

Kind of understanding all the 'time flying' comments Mums say now with Ryder - we've had him 5 weeks this Friday :eek: My car is loaded with his blankets, crate, toys and chews atm cause he's having a sleep over with Percy at my Parents' while me and OH go watch oily men grapple Upset I'm missing out on a 'masked kane' meet and greet though!

How's Grace doing today? Hope you and NIM are doing well too, must be such a weird mix of worrying and excitement!

It is, you're sort of scared to not worry about her and just enjoy the good days. I never imagined I could laugh so much in the nicu as on Sunday when I lifted her legs to clean her bum and she projectile poo-d lots of merconium which had a 2 ft range and covered her incubator! She had to get a whole new incubator which meant I got extra cuddles. NIM and I are both prone to a few mood swings atm, just drained and a bit exhausted really.

She's okay today, docs at happy with her, she's getting weighed soon, her feet are too chilly though so she won't bleed for a gas, we're trying to find the world's smallest pair of socks

That story about Grace covering the incubator is equal parts gross and hilarious! The good news is that she's worked out how to poop though... just maybe not quite so much at once in future! :rotfl:

Hope you manage to find teeny tiny socks for her, I can just about imagine how small they'll be!

Maybe not such tiny socks - our little girl gained 90g/3oz in 3 days! Now 1.04kg, or nearly 2lb 5oz.
