The mood swings last a while, i kept crying for a few weeks. Think OH thought i'd lost it.
I'd need to think D ever had it first. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yes yes I know I'm mean, but I don't really mean it, love her to death. Honestly her "mood swings" have been fairly ok compared to what we get warned about as men.
Hows everyone elses day going? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Having an extra car will be good Dinah, hope you can get the insurance sorted out quickly.
I hope no-one came home claiming to have had an Immaculate Conception whilst you lived there Poddle!
My SIL seems to be doing OK, she and my brother are coming round on Thursday and they'll probably have plenty visitors between now and then to keep them occupied. One of her friends spent a couple of days keeping her company and SIL was laughing about how determined her friend was to wrap her in cotton wool, she wasn't allowed to watch the Rugrats as the babies might upset her... she had to admit that she was going a little too far with that! My brother's birthday is in a couple of weeks so for his present I'm going to sort a weekend away for them as a little treat, think they both could do with some time away from home and a little pampering.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Argh. Went down to the pharmacy after saying goodnight to Grace to pick up my prescription as they didn't have it in this morning so were ordering it in for after 5pm, just got home and they've given me the prescription I dropped off the day I was admitted to hospital, not the one I dropped off today. Luckily they're open until the very specific time of 11:15 so NIM has gotten out of bed and gone down to get it for me, this'll teach me to trust the people who are medicating me! Best part is they STILL don't actually have all the tablets I was waiting until after 5pm for.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh that is so annoying Dinah! I hate the women in my doctor's pharmacy office, I swear they drag their feet and mess up prescriptions on purpose. A while back I called in to pick up a prescription of my pill and they gave me an old one that I'd been taken off about 3 months earlier and then claimed that my new one wasn't on repeat, despite the fact that I'd picked it up on repeat the time before, and I'd specified the name of the darn thing when I ordered it! How dim, it makes you wonder how often people end up with outdated prescriptions and people don't realise it and take it anyway?! The horrible women made me wait an hour for the right thing too as if they were punishing me for their balls-up! Grrrr.
Good old NIM for going down to get it sorted for you!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
How annoying Dinah! Good job you have NIM there!
Just trying to sort out what we are doing for Poppy's birthday on sat with our families and apparently OH's mum is too busy even though i gave her about 4 weeks notice....nice.0 -
The important people will be there, those who can't make an effort don't matter. Hope it goes well.
Just had a nice text off one of my colleagues saying they're all thinking of us.
Grace is dressed again today, which is reassuring as it means they don't think they need to watch her so closely.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Glad to hear Grace is doing well
I cant even begin to imagine how tiny the clothes to fit her must be! I still think Noahs newborn clothes look tiny and they were to fit a 9lb 4oz baby!
Hope your doing ok aswell Dinah and looking after yourself?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Way to go Grace.
Quick bit of news for those with student loans. Listen carefully I will say this only once:
Interest Rate
From September 2012, the student loan interest rate cap will be 3.6%. Given the Bank of England Base Rate (BOEBR) is 0.5% and Student Loans Company add 1% then this will be 1.5%.
BOEBR will need to rise to above 2.6% before the cap would be invokes.
Thresholds
From April 2012, the repayment threshold for Student Loan Repayments will be £15,795 per annum or £1,316.25 per month.
From April 2013, the repayment threshold for Student Loan Repayments will be £16,365 per annum or £1,363.75 per month.0 -
That is good news, although i am not paying much now as i have taken a pay drop working only 4 days.0

Glad to hear Grace is doing well you do really need to rest while you can though!!
Poolie thanks for that! i know i borrowed the cash but its so depressing remembering it when i pay it every month!! I'll probably be paying it until I retire too now as my salary should increase a lot over the next 10 years (fingers crossed) but at the rate they take payments on a £21,000 and counting loan, I'm in it for the long haul!
Birdie I got the book!! Thank you so muchI'm going to start it on my way to work tomorrow and I am very excited I've heard such good things about it!!!!
Dont stress yourself about the money update D, I'm sure that it'll all be ok, as long as payments dont get missed but i guess all youre doing is hospital visits so you can't spend much!! Has NIM gotten through all those soups you made a while back by the way? (random Q I know but I loved that post and I can't eat soup for more than about 3 days in a row before I'm sick of it so I was just wondering!)0
