Happy birthday Poppy, hope she's enjoying herself.
Grace working a lot harder than normal at breathing today, docs keeping a close eye on her as this is when she tends to end up with a collapsed lung.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hope it doesn't come to that Dinah , at least they are keeping a close eye.
NIM - my head of department went up to two girls in my team and said they aren't allowed to get pregnant after me and my manager went on maternity leave...we think he was joking.0 -
Happy 1st Birthday to Poppy! That really has gone quick!
Glad to hear Grace is putting on some weight. Hope her respiration rate drops soon though.
Got another job interview tomorrow. Been working it out though and if I get it, I will end up with the same money I'm on at the moment. But no weekends and no nights so would be a step in the right direction. However me and the OH would end up renting somewhere together and even though that is the dream, we might not be able to afford it with high rent prices around here and commuting costs for me. Can anyone give me an estimate for gas/water/electric for a 1 bedroom flat per month?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
I hope Poppy enjoys her party today Wendz!
Hope Grace is breathing better today
Not sure about the cost of things Ruby, we've got a 2 bedroom place but I can check our bank account and see how much we're paying for everything to give you an ideaOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. Right, checked our account and we're paying £40 for water (blimey that seems a lot just for water! Luckily we live in Yorksire so it tastes really nice straight out of the tap!
), £28 for electric and £12 for gas... but I'm fairly sure we're a couple of hundred pounds in credit with them as we only use about £30 worth of electicity per quarter, we really should put it down but we we prefer to overpay just in case, and it's a nice treat when we withdraw the credit!
Oh and we've got an electric oven so the gas we use is just for heating.
As much as I want to move to a proper house I will miss the small bills that come with a little flat!
Ooh and I'm sooooooo excited as I managed to get tickets this morning to see Lady Gaga in September! :j SIL is coming with me (and her sister) and she's far too excited, she had it on her bucket list so she can now die happyFeel a little bad that it's on OH's birthday, but he told me that I have to go as we might not get the chance again and it's not a 'special' birthday, so yippee! Will be spending the next few months trying to decide on what crazy Gaga getup to wear, SIL wants a telephone hat! :rotfl:

A girl in my team got pregnant and she made such a fuss that my manager said to me "I know you'll be next but don't even think about it!" I was actually pregnant at the time but hadn't told anyone. Then my area manager came back off mat leave pregnant withher 2nd, one of the office staff got pregnant and apparently one of e night staff is pregnant there now too! It's not that big a company either so I bet the director is pulling her hair out atm!!
Hope Grace's breathing eases. And at least they are keeping an eye on her.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

You heard the Duet she did with Leonard Cohen, I've a whole new level of respect for her after hearing that. She genuinely can sing without Autotune. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
