I have a pint of Poolie special brew to hand over on Monday. Does Grace need some O Neg?
Everyone needs O Neg, Poolie, it's the best! Not that I'm biased or anything, but i'm pretty sure it means you're a universal donor.
So glad Grace is settling and they're taking such good care of her - hope you guys are managing to get some rest too.
Sorry to hear about your nan, Ruby - it's good that you're starting to get some answers and the help she needs.
Cinny, I think it's hilarious that you double booked wrestling with Steps! At least you're not predictable
Enjoy your gigs, girls - I haven't been to a proper one in ages AND it was one of my new year's resolutions. I guess everything's been a bit overshadowed by wedding plans (and spends!).
My OH is off to Dublin today on his stag do which means it's only 3 weeks to go - can't believe it! We're pretty sorted but there are still lots of crafty/decor bits that we'd planned to DIY and haven't got round to. I have been plundering the supermarkets for bargain booze and cancelling out the savings by buying soft drinks in pretty bottles and stripey straws. Still on budget though...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Oooh I can't wait to see your wedding pics Poddle! I don't suppose you've had any cancellations and have a couple of spaces to fill do you?!
Glad to hear that you're still on budget, that's usually the first thing to go out of the window! Is there anything papercrafty that can be done from a distance?
I've booked into the nearest blood donor session, it's not until the 10th May but I feel happy that I've shown willing!I'm a little concerned that it's the day before we fly to Spain but the chap I spoke to seemed to think I'd be fine... just hope I don't have a massive ugly bruise!

I've never bruised from it, just a lil hole where the needle goes in for a few days. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
I've had teeny tiny marks and I've also had ginormous painful bruises that cover half my arm so I'm hoping to get a gentle nurse who doesn't maim me this time!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Glad to hear things are going better for little Grace. I can't imagine the stress you must both be under. I met a friend of the family who had her daughter in November 2011. She was 10 weeks early. She is still teeny but aboslutely flying along (17 weeks now) and rolling both ways already. Grace sounds so feisty I bet it won't be long until she does the same!
Hope your Nan is better Ruby. It sounds very frustrating
Tete - I also booked New York with the girls this October. Can't wait! We have no hotel yet and love the look of yours but there is only 3 of us so would work out expensive. Who did you book the hotel with? I was a bit wobbly about leaving Evie for 4 nights but its just she is so young now I couldn't leave her, but at 13 months she will be walking, or at least crawling so will be more hardy.

I love The Sage Tete, it's gorgeous outside and in! Great acoustics too and there's not a bad seat in the house
And Birdie, where are you seeing McFly?0 -

We're seeing them at the Manchester O2 Apollo. They seem to do one year of stadium tours and one year of smaller venues, this is a small year! I'll have to dig out my amazing McFly hat to wear as usual! We really struggled to get tickets this time as they're suddenly much more popular since Dougie became King of the Jungle and Harry won Strictly! Wonder if Aliona will pop up as a guest dancer?

That's great, how exciting! Would love to go to NYC with the girls, but didn't quite manage to for a 30th and one of them has just announced she's 13 weeks pregnant, so it won't be for a while! But nice to know that it's not impossible CMDIt must be hard thinking about being so far away, but it's perfectly feasible if you've got your OH and family around. Good for you!

Aw thanks Birdieyou'll be the first to know if I think of any jobs I can outsource! This weekend I will mostly be making hessian runners and handprinting luggage tags for place settings. I'm quite looking forward to getting back to basics with some CDT skills and a set square!

We're going here, should be nice for lying about just being plain lazy, not super fancy looking like Tete's hotel, but it cost £250 for 4 nights half board so we can't complain!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Hotel looks nice Birdie! I could do with a nice relaxing break in the sun...
Nan was discharged yesterday evening. Carer's start at 9am today and my mum has to be there to meet them and show them where things are etc. She's getting meals on wheels too so she's going to stay and see what that's like. Maybe now I can go to the Dr's and sort out all my medical problems?
