Glad Grace is doing better and yey for putting weight on! And yes for taking it easy whenever you can!0

Has anyone seen 19 kids and counting? Their youngest kid was born prematurely (a little earlier than Grace? I'm not sure) - she was finally allowed to go home on yesterdays episode, really hoping with every bit of me Grace gets to that stage as safely and trouble free as possible. They really decorated up her little incubator though, are you allowed to do that with Grace's? She had a little josie name plateplankdoodah, and they put cute signs up like 'please wash your hands before you hold mine'
That's such amazing news about the weight gain though, you must be so happy!
My voice is completely wrecked from StepsHad a couple in front of us who were laughing at me and Laura getting all excited for H. I don't care if they had a better chance with having the correct genitalia, just because H didn't look into the crowd last night, realise he loves me, is suddenly straight and "lets run away to Wales and run a B&B" doesn't mean it's never going to happen.

Glad little Grace is doing better. Yay for gaining weight! I agree with NIM and your mum about resting up between seeing Grace.
Cinny - i watch 19 kids and counting when i'm at my parents. Glad you had fun at steps! I remember two of my friends loved them at school so they used to teach us all the dances at the school discos.
I am off work this week yay. Nice to not have to rush around so much but still got quite a bit planned this week.0 -
Ahh Cinny you do make me laugh! :rotfl: Glad you had a good time at Steps! My friend was there last night and I'm so jealous!
Hotel looks lovely too, what a lovely present for your Mum!
Why are you going to be in the hospital for 12 hours today and tomorrow Dinah? Are you feeling back to normal after the C-Section now? (No idea how long it takes to heal!)
Glad to hear that Gracie's doing well, all those prayers and good thoughts are doing their job!
Very interesting about the blood Rubywhat (very confusing having 2 Rubys!), every day is a school day on here!
We had a fairly quiet weekend. My SIL went in for her medical miscarriage yesterday and had a pretty rough time of it by the sounds of it, poor love. At least that bit's over now and she can concentrate on healing physically and emotionally now rather than being stuck in limbo as she had been.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hope you SIL has a quick recovery Birdie, although I'm not sure how you start to move on emotionally from something like that.
12 hour visits were due to no one to give me lifts, but I drove last night and it was fine, so will have the car tomorrow. We'll have the loan of a second car this week too for a few months, as soon as mum can work out who grandad is insured with we can add NIM onto the policy and he can drive that for a bit.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Glad to hear Grace is doing better and I'm sure the extra car will help out an awful lot.
I'm so jealous Cinny that you went to see Steps! I know all the dances to the songs...
OH decided yesterday in his infinite wisdom that he wants to go on holiday in October (after the stress of the Olympics has worn off at work). Not so sure it's such a great idea when he told me he's about 5 grand in debt still but we shall see.
Hope you're all having a good Monday morning. I'm going to wash the car and do some general de-cluttering and see what I can list on ebay.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Dinah - have you checked with your insurance company about driving after a c section? Some don't like you to drive for 6 weeks but mine said was fine if doctor said i could drive.
Hope your SIL is ok Birdie. My Mum had to have that procedure first time she was pregnant as she had a missed miscarriage and she said it was horrible.

Dinah, that's good news that Grace is putting on weight and you'll have much more freedom with an extra car. How are you feeling?
Birdie, your poor SIL, hope she's getting all the support she needs.
By the way, your Spain hotel is about 5 minutes from where I lived on my gap year! I was in Arroyo de la Miel - the village just inland of Benalmadena Costa, at the bottom of the mountainThe translation is stream of honey and we lived on Immaculate Conception avenue... I do love the Spanish!

Aye I called them yesterday, they said they don't have an issue as long as no medical professional had told me I can't and I feel capable of doing an emergency stop.
I still feel a bit up and down, a lot of mood swings I find it hard to pull out of, but I'm fine so long as I'm with her.
Considering working out some kind of money update, but probably better to leave it until after payday, try to do something around the 1st. I think it's 1st March and 1st April I've missed now. Not quite sure how so much money is leaving our possession this month, when all we do is go to the hospital or sleep.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's good
,makes it a lot easier when you can drive yourself.
The mood swings last a while, i kept crying for a few weeks. Think OH thought i'd lost it.
Try not to worry too much about the money, as you say you haven't been out spending it so hopefully things have been ticking along ok.0
