Id love to weigh myself after having a baby, imagine dropping nearly a stone just like that! I could prob manage not to weigh in all month cinny as I pay to use the scales in boots so its easy to avoid. Def up for some November goals anyway.
Aw babies in cat costumes, how adorable!
Thinking of cats, what happened with your chunky kitty dinah/nim? Assume we'd have heard if she had had kittens!
Ooh sounds v swish birdie hope you feel better soon

She'd just been spoilt a bit while we were on our holidays it seems, she's become more cat-like since though - I can't put a glass of milk down without finding her face in it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Aww, one of my cats is like that with water - she gets a big bowl of fresh water twice a day but still prefers it out of a glass, or the pond.
I was looking at a pack of ginger nuts at the weekend and was surprised how calorific they are! It was around 98 calories for two, and of course you have to have half the packet! I'd much rather have a Wispa than 5 ginger nuts!
People. Beetroot soup. Don't ever bother, it's a nightmare! Not only was the kitchen a bloodbath yesterday when I made it, and my fingernails are still purple round the edges despite two showers and a salt and lemon scrub, but it's just spattered all over the work microwave despite having a lid on. I decided to err on the side of caution and make myself a kitchen roll bib as I'm wearing a cream blouse today and it's a good job I did because it was covered in tiny purple spots even though I'd swear I didn't spill a drop! And also it's quite liquid and now I feel all 'sloshy'Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
My mums cats much prefer puddles haha, or one of them likes the toilet which is why we always keep the lid down there!
Oh dear, definately need to stop the biscuit habit then. I blame OH for putting about five packs in the basket.
The beetroot soup sounds like a bit of a nightmare. Maybe something cream coloured next time.0 -
Can you discreetly ask if they're taking everything in joint names or each spreading it evenly? If she gets him to take it all on he potentially could be in the mire if she leaves him with all the repayments.
It will all be in his name, but I've just heard that he's promised to buy her a horse next year so I'm out of puff. I mean.. really? A horse?!
Bless your kitty, though! Pippin is a devil for milk too, I used to cook him fish in a little milk and he'd nearly die at the smell (where as I nearly saw my breakfast)
Did it taste nice though, Tete? Does sound a nightmare! The pumpkin soup I made last night was delish. Added some cinnamon to it though which made it pretty awesome!0 -
Dear me, could he not buy her a car? Would be cheaper!
Eek to the toilet water!
Yes definitely something cream next time! It tastes OK but not nice enough to be worth the faff!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
A horse? Is he a baron in disguise? Hows your brothers self confidence Cinny? It sounds a bit like he feels he needs to spoil her to take care of her/make her happy because he's not enough for her without the fancy trappings. Alternatively does he have a reasonably well paid job? People on good incomes are more likely to be in debt than people on minimum wage, something about the value of their moeny and feeling they 'deserve' things more. None of this helps like as it still won't stop him spending if he wants to.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

He er, kind of did
I suppose at least the beets didn't cost you anything, but it's still a shame when don't turn out 100%! At least you're fed
I don't think it's a confidence thing though, Dinah. He's just a very generous guy, like when we struggled with money when we first moved out he'd come across with little treats, or bits for the house he knew we needed. He's a lovely guy. The only problem is, she takes major advantage of it. Hence the horse! But no, I get what you mean about the debt. I'm a low earner but I know the value of money for it, I'm a little saver and I'm happy. Where as he's always taking loans out for his cars, or buying things on credit because he can't wait to save for it. He'll figure it out. I hope!
Hope you're feeling better soon! Sounds horrible. Everyone I know seems to be getting colds, or the flu. Tis the season!0
