Dinah I've just realised that we are half way through October already (bit slow me!) Will we be having November goals next month as well?? Or was the October thing a one off??

  • Morning all, I am in pain after going to the gym for first time in months. Last time I did a legs, bums & tums class it was fun - this was hell! No shred for me today :( also went to Yorks castle museum with bf as its free if you have a library card so that was nice.

So sorry about your dog cinny, that's so young

37 things on eBay is amazing! When do they finish?

When do your dhs compressed hours start cmd?

Better hobble back to my desk now (2 flights of stairs!) and do some work

  • It's a very pretty chart NIM, you can bask in our adulation as a substitute for being able to admire it yourself.

I for one would like November goals...

EDIT - Love the Castle Museum Archers! Hope you feel better soon, pain only means it's working! :D

Thanks everyone. I know it sounds a little twisted to say, but I'm glad she went the way she did. She wasn't in pain, she was off her food but otherwise her normal happy boundy-aroundy self. We loved her, massive amounts, I'd like to think that made up for her health problems.

It was tough! I don't know how you're meant to do it but I did the level one 20 minute thing and it was pretty tough but I definitely felt it! I am also very inspired by your blog! I can't really diet becase I'm no good at that sort of thing and it's lead to problems before so exersize is definitely the best way for me! - Am i supposed to do the level 1 every day for 30 days and then level 2 for 30 days or how does it work!?!

In theory you're meant to work through each stage in 10 days. But really, just up yourself when you feel ready for it. Level 1 is by far the most boring one, Level 2 is the best one (give you something to look forward to!) the moves are by far the hardest but it's a good mix and perfect for fat burning, Level 3 is more strength training so I'd be tempted to stay at Level 2 for as long as you can really if it's weight you're wanting to shift.

Diet wise, I'm terrible too. It always leads to the same cycle for me. That's why I'm just changing how I'm eating - like I always say! It's day 72 today, with 16lb off. I hit a 2 week wall. Still go out for meals with Rich, or I'll have a take out (had a chinese on Saturday which was delish!) so I'm not too hard done by.

Well done on the ebay, Dinah! Back to your old ways :D I'm sure the chart will come back around when you're more awake to it. Sometimes when you've been working at something it takes a good break away to see the fault staring right at you when you get back to it!

I need a little advice too, about my Brother and his mardy one. They're getting themselves into more and more debt with this house deal. Like yesterday when I told them where we got our curtains from their reply was "Oh, good. We can get credit with them." Whaaat?! They're already sitting on 2 car loads, a friggen watch loan and I seriously hate to think what they've racked up through the company buying building things. They won't listen to anything I say, even when I suggested saving up gas money for winter they just started mocking me and Rich. They seem to look down on us but hey, we have good savings and only OH's car loan as debt. They can think what they like on that account, I don't really care. I just don't want them to go down the big debt path if I can stop them, I just don't know how to get them to listen!

sometimes Cinny you need to let them find out for themselves. I know it's hard for you but you have tried and you can't make them listen. Would talking to your brother on his own help do you think when she's not there??

Sorry to hear about your dog though.

I've tried both, I've even tried talking to her straight. I did shock her with the Council Tax, she thought it was about £50 or something. OH bought it up last night and I said then maybe we should just stop trying. But it's my Brother. It's hard.

And thanks, you've all been really sweet :o

I'd be up for November goals. I'm going for a No-Scale November if anyone wants to join in! Focus on feeling healthy instead of weight loss. Then it's just saving for me.

Took me ages to click the charts would be on the first page :rotfl: I was sat here thinking 'am I blind?!' They look very fancy though.
