I agree she is so gorgeous and you and NIM look like you are head over heals with her.
Being emotional is definately normal and thats without the added stress of baby being in hospital so don't worry about that.
Hope you start to feel better soon, is going to be tough but sounds like she is doing well.
Hope everyone is having a nice easter weekend. We went to the zoo Friday which was good but colder than we thought it would be. Then just been pottering around the rest of the weekend really. Dragging OH out to get Poppy's birthday presents today.0 -

Awww she is absolutely gorgeous! And she looks like she has a little personality of her own already in the first pic, like she's saying "why are you pointing that thing at me". And the cuddles pics are so sweet, really brings it home how small she is! Hope you're blood pressure starts evening out soon, I'm sure it will still be a little bit all over the place because of the hormones.
I've been in hospital all weekend in one way or another. Been working most of the time but my nan was taken in on Friday as well after having a fall on Friday. Still not sure what happened but looks like she just blacked out and fell on her side while out shopping. She smashed her glasses and got glass in her eye and the arm of her glasses were digging in the side of her face. Got taken to our local hospital but they transferred her to one in a different town that has a special eye unit that's a pain to get to for the rest of us. Luckily her eye appears to be ok, waiting for her to see the consultant tomorrow and see what they say. Only problem is her dementia appears to have deteriorated quite quickly with the shock of it all and we feel she needs a bit more help at home. Hopefully we can get it sorted but she's refusing for them to wash her so I've been going there straight from my night shifts and then at 6 am this morning to make sure she has a shower and gets dressed properly.

I love the cuddle photos Dinah, absolutely gorgeous! I love the look on her face in the first photo too, she really wasn't impressed by the ventilator was she?! Hope she beats the infection and can start to feed (and grow!) quickly.
Sorry you've had a bad weekend with your Nan Ruby, hope she improves soon.
We've had some bad news this weekend too. My SIL is 13 weeks pregnant and had an 'extra' 12 week scan on Thursday as the baby was all curled up for the first one so they couldn't do all the tests; the poor thing is dying of a rare disease so she has to go into hospital for a medical miscarriage this Thursday.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I'm really sorry about your SIL Birdie, what an awful thing to have to go through. Especially getting past 12 weeks too, you sort of assume you're in the clear then.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ruby - hope your Nan is ok poor thing. They are so independent aren't they and hard to give them help even when they really need it.
Birdie - your poor SIL, that must be so horrible for her.
I didn't want to say this a few weeks ago as didn't want to scare Dinah but sadly my cousins wife lost their baby in Feb at 8 months pregnant. I am not sure if they know what happened yet but my Mum and Dad went to the funeral. I don't know how people cope in these situations.0 -
Oh that is so sad Wendz
I've no idea how or why things like that happen in this day and age.
Dinah, can you please PM me your address?
Oh and I don't suppose anyone wants a copy of the Hunger Games book do they? I have ended up with 2 as I bought one online then found the set super cheap in The Works, it's not really worth returning once postage is deducted, would rather spend the postage on sending it on to someone!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
