Trace protein in urine this morning, scared feelings coming back (for anyone who hasn't been pregnant this is another alarm bell for pre-eclampsia). Also the doctors usually do the rounds at 10am.... still no doctor. Grrr!

Sorry you're back in hospital :( Hope everything is OK and they do ask you want and actually keep you in until things are sorted. Tell your little lady to stay put! :)

Great news about the ebay sale, not great about the fence!

Had my filling and I've got a very numb mouth now :( I survived it though! Went to see the Laser Eye Man last night and hoping to get my eyes done in a couple of weeks, I was a little shocked at the price he quoted me but because I'd had the recommendation from the LEM's friend i.e. my optician he knocked £540 off and I'll be getting £160 back from Medicash which makes it a little more reasonable :)

Do you mind me asking how much the eyes are birdie? I'd love to wake up with clear vision but I'm also a wuss with eyes as they just seem so delicate!

I don't mind telling :) It's with this company and I was really impressed with the surgeon and the kit they've got. They say that normally it is £1170 per eye, which is less than what you'd pay if you got the same thing (i.e. the best treatment they offer as 'extras') with Optical Express et al, and he knocked it down to £1800 :)

Me too, I can't see a thing without my contact lenses.

LOL Kavics, I know it's a lot, but considering I spend ~£200 every other year on glasses, ~£100 on prescription sunnies, and ~£140 a year on contacts then the surgery will have paid for itself in 10 years, and I'm so 'young' (in eye terms anyway!) that I'll have a good 20 years of perfect vision before natural degeneration leaves me needing reading glasses so the second 10 years post surgery I'll be in profit! That's how I've rationalised it anyway. :o I'm so looking forward to not having to use glasses or lenses, it'll be so freeing! :D I'm sure I could've got it cheaper elsewhere but I'm so nervy about my eyes that there's no way I'd feel comfortable going somewhere and paying for the 'cheap' version, leaving the all of the added extras off, knowing that there's a better option available that I'm missing out on. :)

Hope all is ok Dinah. I had trace of protein and high blood pressure once but wasn't anything thankfully, hopefully is same for you.

Birdie - glad you survived the dentist. The eye surgery is pricy but OH says its one of the best things he has done.

This week is going too fast :(.
