What are you going to see Cinny?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

So glad to hear you are out Dinah. I must have been quite lucky that our hospital has nice food and lots of selection too! Good idea about the batch meals ,I was going to say similar suggestions to Cinny.
Yay for all the baby stuff, makes it so real when you have baby things everywhere!
Ohh i love boden, wish they would send me another voucher.
Cinny - sounds like a good weekend! Same question as Birdie what are you going to see?
OH and I have been chatting and we were looking at moving to a house but we are sort of deciding against it now because of everything we have going on in the next couple of months plus the cost of estate agents fees and moving vans etc. We are going to see if anything amazing comes up in the next week (unlikely) and then if not we will hopefully renew this place. The flat is really nice and spacious too so isn't really a problem to stay we just wanted a garden but there is a nice park 2 mins away with grass so can always take Poppy round there to play.0 -
Sounds like the smart choice with possibly putting the flat-to-house move on hold. You've got plenty of time for all that lovely moving stress, at least this way you'll be able to focus your extra energy on other things instead of having everything up at once.
We wanted to go see Woman in Black. But we either looked at the wrong Cinema, or just spaced out for a while, because the times were different when we got there and it wasn't on for hours. So logic led us to a B&B in Blackpool. Which was gorgeous as ever!
Ended up doing my holiday clothes shopping tooJust need a trip to Matalan at some point because they have seriously cute bikinis this year and I'm sorted. Got everything a bit smaller, so I have motivation to start toning up. Because I'll be screwed otherwise, and I'm too lazy to just exercise without a threat hanging over me.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend, and your BP stayed under control Dinah!0 -
I *may* have been back in hospital Saturday night. Was given the option to come home yesterday, which of course I jumped at, bp has been a bit hit and miss since coming back but nothing extreme. Waiting until 12 to call my doctor as the hospital only gave me 3 days of tablets so I need a prescription writing out. So in mind of trying to stay out of hospital I'm being as restful as I can be, NIM has done a cracking job of tidying the house, while he tells me my only job is growing the baby and to stop worrying about anything else. Feeling extremely loved at the moment.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm toying with whether to do February's sums. They're only going to make me sad. NIM and I have decided on a trial system where he will leave me one box of stuff to ebay a day, he'll photograph it, that way I don't have to be on my feet too much and it's not going to be too stressful but at least I'll still feel like I'm doing something positive towards the debt. We'll see how it goes.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sorry to hear you've been back in hospital Dinah but glad you're out now. Have the day off today and was planning to do loads but as always the day has flown! My tesco delivery didn't turn up (I am so unlucky it's untrue!) but they gave me some money off vouchers so I'm happy. Have had the oven drenched in cleaner all day so better go and clean that off so I can get tea on. Hi Dinah,
Sorry to hear you were back in hospital. Can I just suggest something and feel free to ignore me if you want. BP is a very serious thing in pregnancy. I think you need to think very seriously about just getting direct debits to pay off what you can on the debt and forget about the rest until you have the baby. There is a reason you have been signed off work, and that is because you need to rest. Even the eBay items could subconsciously be raising your BP.
Please just think about it. Sometimes in life we have to let things go for a while. You don't want to look back on this special time in your life and just remember being stressed.
Only saying this because it's what I genuinely feel xTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I already have direct debits set up for minimum payments, so I don't worry about missing a date. I completely hear what you're saying, I'm just worried that if I don't clear any more now I'll be either raking up more debt or back at work somewhere between 20 and 39 weeks after she's born, rather than the 39-52 I'd like. To be honest I'm more inclined to agree with you than not - any encouragement that by a few months old she might be having a nice long afternoon nap where I can find the time to spend a few hours a day ebaying and therefore I can clear the debt then rather than now?!
Granddad had his consultant appointment again today. They *think* it's a tumour but still don't know. They're assembling a team to try to work it out. The boundaries are clearer this time than last time which is indicating tumour. But without any real diagnosis there still isn't a way forward.
Holiday isn't covered by distance selling so we can't cancel it that way, now trying to get the MS company to cancel it their end, otherwise we're only left with trying the insurers. Otherwise we're paying £800 for a holiday we can't go on yet really want to be on.
Spent 30 mins trying to get through to the right room at the doctors today by phone. They moved to their new building over the weekend and there appear to be some bugs to work out as I was on hold for a very, very long time or random people kept answering. I did eventually get through to my doctor though and she's put my new prescription through.
Got a call back from the alternative therapies woman in town. I fancied trying it because quite frankly I'd walk through the market square dressed in a garment made only of old dish cloths with a duck on my head singing 'do you know the way to Tipperary' backwards if I thought there was a chance it might lower my bp and keep the baby in for longer. Plus Medicash will pay for it. I asked my doc last time I saw her if I could try acupuncture/reflexology and she was supportive, but I didn't get it in writing. So I need to call again to ask for that. That will be all 3 of the last days she's worked I've bothered her.
Just to top my "relaxing" day off, Tesco called to say my delivery this evening won't be coming as the van has broken, okay, fair enough. Except they can't just reschedule it for another night, I have to log on and do it... but I can't just rearrange the current order, or repeat it, because there is a system glitch so I can't see the what was ordered, and I can't remember everything obviously. So I called back and they then managed to rearrange it for tomorrow... but it's coming up as £237 rather than the £103 it should be! So she's said call back tomorrow if that's what they charge us. What have I missed regarding the MS holiday?!
Shame to hear about the hospital and the BP etc it must be making you mad not to mention not enjoying your pregnancy! I'm happy to hear that NIM is looking out for you though
Ive had a pretty tiring weekend and can't believe it's only monday! I also can't believe how much I'm wishing it was the weekend again either! I'm v concious of wishing my life away but i love weekends! Least I spend less in the week I suppose but did have to buy travel cards today - ouch! £135 each!0 -

I hope your Grandad gets diagnosed soon, or something is done to make him better.
Can't offer any encouragement re: long afternoon naps! I would be lying otherwise!!! What I will say is that by about 5 months old, the baby is going to sleep by about 7-8pm so you do get your evenings back. Before that though, you can foget about it!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
