Now this is some interesting timing.
Lol cross posted BirdieHave you seen this NIM?!
Hope Poppy's feeling better Wendz, poor thing
How are you doing Dinah? They letting you go home?
Been to Crucial Crew this morning, playing the part of 999 Operator, answering the calls the kids make, telling them to stay safe and there's someone on the way. They were given an incident to call about but some of them embellished wonderfully i.e. 'A man's mugged my friend and there was loads of money in her purse!' and 'There was a head-on collision and it looks really grim!' Good fun!
Sounds fun. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Thanks everyone , she seems a lot better started crawling around and things again. Having a nap now.
That sounds fun Birdie, you have to love kids for their imagination!0 -

Morning all! I think I saw Lara quite recently on another thread, but I can't remember which one...
Hurrah for Friday! I have Monday off next week, so double hurrah!

Also Cinny if you're about, there is another Tesco code floating about GRN4H7 to get £5 off. It just worked for me along with a £6 one they had sent me in the post but is only valid til Sunday. Thought I would mention it in case its any use! Hurrah for long weekends Shrimpy!:j We've got no real plans, just a lot of lazing about watching movies and faffing which will be lovely. Going to make some Mother's Day cards to sell at work and annoy OH by taking over the living room with my 'rubbish' again
ETA: I used that Tesco code last night along with a £10 off first order one so ended up with £15 off, was very pleased!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Morning ladies and Raplh-parts, how are we all doing today? I'm exstatic to say that I'm free (despite a mere 2 days incarceration I feel Edmond Dantès had it right running along a beach screaming it to the heavens. But then he only had the Château d'If to put up with, I had NHS catering).
Had a panic this morning as bp was at it's good old through the roof levels, until NIM asked if I'd taken my second tablet this morning. Somehow I'd managed to forget to take the new one, taken it now so hopefully in an hour or so things will be healthy again.
I can at least claim £105 off my healthcare plan for the second night's stay, which is something.
Came back to loads of boxes of all the baby stuff I ordered at the weekend. I think we have just about everything now except the room to put it in and something for it to sleep in.
The cat has a bad cold, if anyone has any suggestions with what to do with her please let me know. I wanted her to sit in the bathroom while NIM had his shower so the steam could help, but she was scratching at the door to get out and he's a softie and let her.
Got sent another Boden voucher for £10 off, unfortunately no sales on atm, but as I'm living in comfy trousers and long tops I thought I'd get a pair of maternity leggings. They should have been £26, but by using a 15% off code, and my £10 voucher, and somewhere along the line some other whitchcraft they came to £8.70 delivered. And then there is 5% Quidco too.
Decided I'm going to find a few batch cook type meals which can be frozen and ideally heated in a microwave. Mum kept bringing me supermarket sandwiches to the hospital, and NIM got himself packs of potato scones and crossants as otherwise he was hungry too. The food was not really substantial (especially dinner times, it is a sandwich in one of two flavours (last night was egg or tuna, both of which I HATE) or a jacket spud from the dawn of time only) so if I end up inside again NIM is planning to heat us a dinner at his work, and then put it in our thermal packed lunch boxes and we can still have dinner together. There are plenty of batch cook can freeze meals I can think of, it's just a bit harder thinking of ones which can be a full dinner (ie don't have to also cook something else seperately) and reheat from frozen. I'm sure I'll come up with something though.
Spent almost all of yesterday asleep, hoping that today is better as sleeping around 18 hours a day is an annoying way to pass the next (hopefully) 3 months.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yay, you're home again! :j
For batch cooking you'd probably be best making some stews with loads of root veg in, it'll feel like a full dinner because the stuf you'd have on the side is already in it. A couple of slices of fresh crusty bread to go with it and you're sorted! Mmmm. Crusty bread... Or some curry type meals that you heat up alongside some microwave rice? I really don't want to end up in hospital if that's what you get fed, blech! They need to send Heston in!
Excellent Boden bargain!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hi Lee
I've been dealing with this since and can fairly safely confirm I wont be renewing the contract with you guys.
In what world do you think its a good idea to not allow people to block their phone from going over their minutes, run up a bill of nearly £200 and then say well you should have been more careful when you have the technology available to ensure it doesnt happen?
Not only that you now refuse to allow me to put a cap on what I can do with my phone to ensure this doesnt happen again. I've given Vodafone plenty of opportunity to sort this out and I'll give you a shot too but I'm probably going to take this to ofcom.
Feel free to PM me if you don't want to reply here.
N.I.M

Shortly after sending it you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. To make sure that it reaches me could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as I can?
Kind regards,

All I can really think of is lasagna, cottage/shepards pie, pasta bakes, soup. With either salad/bread. You could do curry, but have some frozen naans to go with instead of rice. Then all NIM needs to do is heat them up, wrap them in tin foil then a paper bag and they should stay warm next to the curry.
Glad you're out of the hospital though, and good job NIM remembered about the tablets. Must have been kind of exciting to come home to all the baby boxes!
Hope everyone has a nice weekend. It's all lovely and sunny here, so we're going to go pay a small fortune to sit in a darkened room that smells like popcorn and watch giant faces on a screen. :T0
