Not sure what to make of her sister other than the fact that she is completely out of her tiny little mind.
Oh that woman is bat crap crazy. I'm surprised you haven't watched the series, I thought you'd be booming with Irish pride!
Can't imagine how you must have felt to leave Poppy after being with her pretty much constantly all these months, Wendz!0 -

What for Seanie? He's outa sheffield, just gaeliced up his name. Or is there someone else in it I don't know about?
Besides why would I watch it before reading the book. Thats like watching the LOTR movies without reading them first...its illegal for geeks to do this you know. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

Noo, why would I think the Bean is Irish?! The Production was in Paint Hall Studio's Titanic Quarter. And most of Westeros is the Irish countryside, I think.
Ahh, see. Proof I'm not a geek. I watched the first episode then started reading. Series 2 starts April 2nd though, so I'm ahead on that beast.
Shrimpy - Song of Ice and Fire are just a series of books, they're seriously good though! It's a HBO tv series too. Glad your 'chat' turned out well, I hated having to have that with Rich *shudder*0 -

A LOT of people do think he is. Probs due to how he spells his name.
Did not know this although looking at some of the images it wouldn't surprise me. I've probably been to WesterosThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Urgh, internet is dire this morning, have been trying to send a PM for over an hour, and I still don't know if it has gone once, twice, eighteen times or not at all.Dinah what about vegetable protein in place of meat and fish? I think there's quite a lot of protein in things like quinoa which is a good rice sub and theres always pulses etc?Morning!
Dinah, you'll have no doubt seen it before you even read this but there's a 0% credit card in this weeks email, it's only for 7 months but it's better than nothing if you're still wanting a couple credit transfers.shrimpy_80 wrote: »Dinah, did you have your HR meeting the other day? How did it go?
HR were HRish, ie don't actually care what is wrong with you, only if they can find some way around the doctors note to get you back to work. So now I'm waiting on an occupational health assessment.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks Cinny, I hate feeling out of the loopMight have a look out for them, haven't ventured to my new local library yet (well, I went once but forgot my card!)
Dinah, the meeting sounds like it went as expected really! How long do you have you have to wait to see the OT? If you have a doctor's note, you'd think that should be that really, although I can understand them keeping in touch.
The balance transfer wouldn't be admitting defeat, it is still a positive step if it saves you 7 months interest, and that money saved is money off overall. Agreed
It has been such a loooooooong afternoon here... would like to go home now! It doesn't help that I stepped in a puddle on my way back into the office after lunch and I've had a soggy left foot since!
Am I not allowed to watch the new Hobbit movie without reading the book first NIM?I tried to read LOTR and got halfway through the 2nd before giving up (and it took me about 2 years to get to that point)... I hate waffly writers and he wins the award for waffling! IMO anyway... I'm not going to get into arguments with nerds the world over about it!
I've been eyeing my old favourites recently and I want to read them again but in my 101 things I have to read 50 new books so don't want to 'waste' my limited time reading Little Women et al for the 100th time even though I'm well overdue a re-read of them!
Oh my word, I've just checked my 101 Things list and had to look again when I saw that I'm already 356 days into it! How can that be?! I really need to crack on! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I think the Hobbit is a little easier to get through than LOTR Birdie, I read it in school. I gave up on LOTR too though and I fell asleep in all three films but don't tell NIM!
