Dinah what about vegetable protein in place of meat and fish? I think there's quite a lot of protein in things like quinoa which is a good rice sub and theres always pulses etc?

I think he just appears as a cameo during the Man or Muppet song :) There are loads of cameos, think everyone in Hollywood wants to work with The Muppets, they're probably more professional than some 'stars'! :p

I went to see it with the OH on Valentines day (he knows I'm a massive Muppets fan) and when Jim Parsons popped up we both went "BAZINGA!" at the same time! All these kids sitting round us thought we were strange...It's a really good film with lots of sarcastic jokes for the adults (like the fact they keep breaking into song and dance numbers for no reason).

    Morning!

Dinah, you'll have no doubt seen it before you even read this but there's a 0% credit card in this weeks email, it's only for 7 months but it's better than nothing if you're still wanting a couple credit transfers.

Was up at 6am this morning. Ugh. Made OH breakfast in bed, but now he's complaining of a funny stomach :rotfl: Cleaned out some old coffee jars so we can separate our bigger change jars into coppers and silvers. Also checked my banking and got a £10 refund from Very, making the personalised lighter I got OH for his birthday only £3.95 :T Wasn't counting on them refunding it, as I know they're pretty sneaky. But the £10 can go towards the £43 I accidentally overspent on him :o Wrote about it here so I won't re-ramble!

No one wants to see The Muppets with me :( My Mum said she'd get me a copy but you can't do that when it's the Muppets. I'll just bide my time and wait until it comes out on DVD. Then watch it on loop!

    Morning all!

Cinny, no-one will come with me either :( if only we lived closer we could be muppet geeks together!

Stayed up far too late having Serious Talks with OH and don't have any milk for my tea so am in real danger of nodding off at my desk today. Might use some flex and sneak off early but I hate using flex, just like I hate using gift vouchers! I just love having a stash!

Hope your keep in touch day went ok Wendz.

Am off to scavenge milk now.

Cinny I think I get about half the song of fire and ice memes on your tumblr thingy but I've had to stop looking cause I loled...hard. Is the series just based on the first book?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Well, it's based on all the first book bar a couple end chapters. How're you getting on with them? I finished Clash of Kings last weekend, taking a break with The Help before starting the rest. Have you seen any of the series?

I'm with Birdie, hope the talks weren't bad-serious, Shrimpy! I hate using vouchers too, but somehow, I manage to not keep them very long regardless :o Just signed up to MyVoice and Swagbucks this morning in hopes of snagging some more vouchers though. All to go in the present fund!.....hopefully.

Still on a game of thrones, Catherine just got to the Erie. Not sure what to make of her sister other than the fact that she is completely out of her tiny little mind.

Cinny - glad you got some money back.Oops about the present buying for your OH. Sure he will love it though.

Shrimpy - eek at serious talks, hope you don't feel too tired.

Birdie - work was ok but felt a bit at a loose end as was helping other people so hoping it will be a bit better when i am doing my own work again. Was desperate to get home to Poppy too.

Thanks ladies, they were good serious in the end, I am such a planner whereas OH is the total opposite, and his vague 'oh, it'll all happen one day' attitude drives me bonkers! We've been together 6 and half years and sometimes I feel he would quite happily coast along until retirement age! I don't want to be one of those nagging girlfriends but its good to feel that we're on the same page, sometimes I'm not even sure he's still in the bookshop! But I feel much better after having The Chat. Just sleepy!

I have some vouchers to cash out from Ipsos and Shop and Scan but can't decide what to get so am virtually hoarding them :o torn between Amazon as they're good for so much, or clothes as I only really buy clothes when I have vouchers. Free money can be such a burden! :rotfl:

Can someone explain what this Fire and Ice business is please? I'm always so out of touch!

Wendz - its horrible feeling 'spare' at work isn't it, I imagine its a bit like being new again in some ways. I'm sure it will be much better when you have your own things to do, like you say.

Dinah, did you have your HR meeting the other day? How did it go?
