Have you found a new place? What's it like?
Yep, its only about 5 minutes away from where we are now which is good as we like this area. Its lovely, just been redecorated, new carpets, kitchen, bathroom etc... and most importantly well insulated and double glazing.
Didnt really realise how important things like that would be to use until we had a baby in the house.
Its costing us around £40 a week just to keep the house warm for Noah at the minute.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Yikes that's loads. Our heating has been on a LOT recently, I'm scared of what our fuel bills are going to be. I liked Scottish Power that we could log on and check our usage, EON don't seem as pro active about it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Crikey that's a big heating bill Flower! You do right to move!
Our heating has been on a heck of a lot recently (for us at least), we're trying to limit how long we've got it on for but it gets so cold (even with jumpers and slankets) that we keep saying, 'Ah, sod it, lets whack it up to 20!'. Last night OH declared that he must be getting old as he feels the cold a lot more now!
I hurt my hand on Saturday (well, technically OH hurt it, I was minding my own business when he jumped on me and accidentally smacked my hand), and it is so sore I can't even concentrate now, it's really tender to touch and it's swollen and bruisedIt's worse since I went out for lunch because I got cold and it doesn't like that, I keep feeling the poorly patch and whimpering because it hurts so much!

I think you need to get him in training for when you're all bumpy and pregnant as he seems to play a lot of daft physical games in which you're always the one who ends up with an injury! Doesn't sound very comfortable - maybe try some of that numbing spray?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

LOL, I've warned him that when/if I get pregnant he'll have to take more care; he's like an energetic puppy, I have to teach him not to jump on me... maybe I should smack him on the nose with rolled up newspaper?! :rotfl:
We have no numbing spray, and no money to buy any until tomorrow, I'll just have to ice it again tonight, which is annoying as a bag of peas strapped to my hand is going to make stitching a little difficult!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. What are you stitching? Sorry if I've forgotten.
NIM clocked his head on the stairs yesterday, and he was pleasantly surprised how much a bag of peas on his head helped. More startled when he moved and peas flew everywhere - I'd forgotten to mention it was open!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Bless you and your hand, Birdie! I was left on my own last Friday as two of OH's friends were play fighting and one of them dislocated his shoulder *rolls eyes* OH is the only one who can drive so he was on hospital duty. I'm sure your OH is more than aware he can't attack you once you're baking a baby! He might just be getting 9 months worth in before it's too late.
The house move sounds great, Flower. You'll feel the difference right away, I bet!0 -
Yeah a heads up on that woulda been niceThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

LOL! We've got a little resealable bag of peas purely for icing boo-boos, I got so frustrated with OH using our peas that were for eating and leaving them out to defrost, then refreeze, defrost again etc (each time dribbling peas everywhere as the bags were always open) so they were no good to eat that we've now got a dedicated icey-pea-pack!
I'm just finishing off one of the wheat bags I've made, adding ribbon to the open end so it can be tied shut. I've been meaning to do it for ages so it can be wrapped and put under the tree but I keep forgetting!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I think that'll do the trick :rotfl:
OH is a bit like that, when I was pregnant he really had to restrain himself! He once came running into the bedroom, jumped then obviously remembered mid air that he would squish the baby and managed to throw himself on the floor :rotfl:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
