1001 goals?! You're going to be at that a lot longer than the rest of us, even me with my 140 odd

I need to check up on my list, would love to cross some more things off.
We're on a strict 'one present each' rule in our family this year - but I made my case that legally I'm two entities and therefore the baby gets a seperate present - suprisingly I won this arguement really easily - think mum just wants to buy tiny things! NIM gave the bump it's present early - he got a two pack of those body butter things to make my skin soft - which he rubs in for me as I hate feeling all the lumps and bumps under the surface.
Watching a few maternity bundles on ebay for tonight. I figure if I get a few bundles, I can resell whatever doesn't fit/suit and keep the best bits.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oops I meant 101 in 1001!

Good idea to get clothes in bundles
And I love the reason why you need to have 2 presents!
I'd really struggle to choose just one present per person, I'm quite happy to have a budget and try to get as much as possible within the price limit! I already feel bad as everyone has several pressies as they were all hand made/super cheap yet my brother wanted a PS3 game which should have cost £40 (I paid £26, thank you ebay!) so he's only got that and another £5 present I bought for him ages ago, I'll feel sorry for him when he's just sat there with his 2 presents whilst everyone is going through their stack of gifts!
Those dolls are even freakier than the ones I linked to Star! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
She's getting a lot more than 2 from me, but I am awesome that way, kept it well under budget
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Birdie I'm like that. I have got 2 neices. One is 11 and wants clothes and one is 2 and probably just wants the box and wrapping paper. I bought the 11 yo a next voucher and I've bought the 2yo a few bits and pieces (puzzles, bath toys etc). The 2yo has had less money wise than the 11yo but I still feel as though I should buy the 11yo something else so she has got the same as the 2yo quantity wise. I know that's stupid but still.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

It's daft isn't it Star? At least at 11 you'd hope that she *gets* that she's had more expensive presents. If not buy a cheap selection box then wrap each chocolate bar separately!

I've just spent the last hour playing on this website, you put in a load of words or a website address and it wiggles them round to fit into a shape! I've made a Harry Potter themed star for OH!

Birdie that website looks so cool. Can you print off what you make?? I was thinking of making DH a kayaking one and printing it on a t shirt for him for christmas. He would love that.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

You can save the images as a jpeg or png then print from your PC, which is nice of them!
My colleague told me about it as she's used it to design her Christmas cards which is a very smartypants idea! Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Afternoon,
That website looks cool Birdie.
Any luck on the maternity bundles Dinah? Does sound like a good idea as is so expensive to buy loads of stuff you will just wear for a few months. That is going to be so cute getting presents for the baby, bet your Mum is very excited
.
Not much news here, went to baby music group this morning and getting Poppy weighed later. Might try and watch polar express as well later!0 -
ooo I'm loving all of this christmas chat!!
Let us know what you get if you win a maternity bundle Dinah!!
Qucik money related Q.. Has anyone ever moved an ISA? I never have but i looked at mine the other day online and its at 0.1%! How rude! I think you can move them but I've no idea a) how to find a good one, b) how to move it!?!
We get paid early this month! Does anyone else? I know it makes January hard but Jan should be a cheap month for me anyway in terms of outgoings etc so I dont really mind to be honest
