Surely that's his own bad business management if it cost more than he quoted! If I sell on ebay and the postage costs £5 and I only charged £2 postage and sold the item for 50p that's my lookout, you know?

then you kick yourself for not actually weighing the item properly, you learn from your mistake and you move on.

Absolutely, you don't go round to the seller's house with an invoice for the shortfall from your mistake!

Glad to see I'm managed to share the builder-rage :D

Being positive I just got NIM 3 or 4 supermarket mystery shops for a fortnight in November, so that should cover a fair bit of next paydays food.

Judge is deciding now. I'm surprisingly calm, maybe this is denial.

Blimey, i's a long drawn out process isn't it? How's it taken so long to make a decision? NIM must be bored off his skull, in between anger and annoyance of course!

Oh no, so sorry to hear there's any doubt about the court case. I had assumed it would be quite a cut-and-dried case in your favour. I also feel builder's behaviour has been absolutely ridiculous. Hope to hear the result soon. Huge hugs to you both :grouphug:

  • Fingers crossed the court result wasn't as bad as anticipated.

    Thinking of you both.
