  • Let's start positively :DGood - the first weigh in

Technically it shouldn't be until Sunday (as only started on Monday) but the girls at work who've also started go to the Thurs night meeting so seemed a good idea to swap my weigh day ....... and .....

2 1/2 lbs off :j:j although I'm not 100% convinced as having "scales issues". Already taken 1 set back (weighed up to 23 lbs different in a day :rotfl:) and assumed they'd been dropped or something. Got another set the same and, although better, still getting different readings (I know you weigh more at night but not 5 lbs in an hour!).

Think I may be taking this set back tomorrow & getting a different make!

The not so good ...... think the stress levels must be on the up again (and not really sure why) - I am absolutely itching to do another SOA ..... which is usually when my money obsession thing & OCD gets out of control :o:o mmmmm

Only thing that I can think is the new meds I started a couple of weeks ago ..... but they are helping on the pain front so wouldn't like to stop them

Have a wee while on them & see how you go.
It's a real pain isent it~sometimes the unwanted side effects are as bad as the thing that you are taking the meds for in the first place.
You know what I mean :rotfl:

I got a set of Salter ones from Amazon which seem to be decent enough (apart from the weight it shows lol)

Are yours on carpet or hard flooring?

  • Ohhhh I do Beanielou *sigh* - a bit frustrating sometimes!

However, (reverting back to positive!!!!) the pain is better than it was - not gone & I do still get times when it's really painful but it's not nearly all the time which it was before :)

I will def keep taking them for at least another couple of weeks - I have to have bloods re-checked then anyway before Dr will give me any more.

Liver function was a bit "off" last time (when I started the new meds) and unfortunately both my existing meds & these new ones can affect this & kidney function ........ inflammation levels were also a bit high (46 - "normal" is around 10 for people with autoimmune diseases & is lower for non-sufferers) - but nowhere near as bad as they have been (around 100ish) when I'm really not well IYKWIM.

Anyway, off to have my bedtime snack .....;) as I'm starting to ramble:o

On My Fitness Pal there was a thing about weight fluctuations but I can't remember how much it said was normal or over what time scale hmmm-anim-hmmm-female-smiley-emoticon-000550-medium.gif I'll log in later and see if I can find it. I know it said choose one time to weigh and stick to it once a week for the most accuracy.

    Enjoy your bedtime snack.

  • Ohhhh that would be handy Badger:)

Warning warning my diary may well about to have number obsession replaced with food obsession

    So .... tonight's dinner is .......

Spag bol - have managed to get the sauce down to 3 points using Quorn & loads of extra tins of tomatoes & muchrooms to bulk it out but the pasta's HUGE @ 6 points - still even with a teeeeennnnnny weeeeennnnnnny bit of low fat cheese it's going to be 10 points so not too bad for a main meal.

Still itching to look at spreadsheets:o (seems to have been a very long time since I've done it - but I guess this is the first month of the once / month update so it's bound to feel like that .....) - don't get paid until Tuesday  and totally skint (really can't face trying to take anything out the bank and only have £1.57 in my purse:eek:

Spent a small fortune again today - why does everything run out at once :(

Got Maisie's supplements but did manage to get them on BOGO for 1p at Holl*and & Barr*ett :) (so £15.85 saved on one type) - these will last 60 days, and got a 90 day tub of the other ones (£11.39).

That should now be her set for a while - got both types of food in the last month, so mixed that should last around 3 months ..... just as well as her account's def in errr negative equity :rotfl:

Also ended up getting a bag of the cats' food (lesser used one) as I've been holding out for an offer for months & there's not been any on the small bags - so that's them now set for 5 months on type 1 and 6 months on type 2.

Spent a lot at Mr A again  diet is costing me a fortune in healthy food ..... better bloomin' work is all I can say. Can't see how I'm going to manage to come in on budget if the past week is anything to go by:eek:

Now ..... very important question - have you all got your lottery tickets?

Decided that it was worth a lucky dip - fingers crossed.

Spag bol just about ready & will prob watch the opening ceremony (not really that "into" that type of thing but we'll see)...... have a lovely weekend all:)

  • Glad it's not just me then Slowly!

Managed to get 2 more portions than I thought I would from the spal bol sauce - bringing that down to 2 points / serving!

Now .... just need to find something with lower points to put it on - honestly, 6 points worth of spaggetti doesn't look a lot!
