  • Awwwww hovel lady too cute for words!:D

Badger thanks for asking - not too bad atm (was bad earlier on & about to cut the grass so ...).

Maisie (touch wood) seems OK today - I'm in the process of switching her pet insurance & on a new exclusion period  so she has 14 days before she can catch / have anything!

Lovely & sunny and on a 1/2 day - can of cider in the fridge for later .... and it's Friday :j what more could a girl ask for!:rotfl:

Big cat just came sauntering in with a bird in his gob:eek: which he promptly dropped :eek: and of course Maisie had to investigate. Not sure who was more surprised when it turned out to be alive :) - poor thing hid behind the curtains with cat, dog & me all trying to catch it :( - luckily I won & it has been happily released back to the wild:D

  • Slight spendy day ...... took something back to PAH (£10.99 refund) but then spent £21 :o - but it comes out the cats budget (already set aside) so thinking I may still manage to snatch a wee sneaky NSD:D

    Ohhhhh started sneezing again!

  • Ohhhh meant to say - went to see a couple of cars........ one (that I quite like!) is, I think going to be too expensive (and the spec is lower & less warranty than others) and the other would be great, but dealership didn't have any (automatics in that model are apparently quite rare!) but will let me know if any come in.

Had a wee hunt on autotrader and a few about - but very long distances away...... mmmmmm

  • Top of the list are:

H*onda Jazz - but would be out of warranty at the age range I'm looking at eg around 3 years old, lower spec than the others & quite a bit more expensive (could only get a 55 plate whereas could get an 09 or 59 in the others!)
H*yundai I20 - none in dealership, great spec, cheap servicing & would still have around 2 years warranty left
K*ia Rio - would still have around 4 years warranty left, seem a reasonably price 2nd hand but would need to do a bit more digging as don't know that much about them!

  • Joined a fat club (online) - it's frustrating me already!

Joined the same one as the girls at work - unfortunately I can't make the meetings as they're at 6pm in the town where we work but I need to come home when I finish for Maisie.

Anyway, thought I'd join online so I'm hopefully kept on track by them going every week!

BUT they got a load of printed stuff with points values etc and I cannot for the life of me find it online - even just to print off. BEEP BEEP! I know you're meant to track online but it's just not poss to stop and look up a points value when you're walking around the SM - surely they must have something somewhere with the points values to print off ....

  • Got it in one!

Never been a T*oyota person TBH - I did go & look at the Aygo when I got Dinky but it was just too wee!

Just had a quick look on Auto*trader and I'd only get around a 57 plate for what I can afford - so a bit on the expensive side too.
