  • Well, we had a lovely walk in the woods next to the beach ..... and there were some horrendously muddy puddles :eek: honestly she's hysterical to watch as she pelts back and forward through them _pale__pale_- there was a family watching in absolute stitches - needless to say, the car & the kitchen floor are both filthy again!:wall::wall:

Came home & had a wee snooze on the sofa while Maisie chomped away on her bone (she has the most fantastically white teeth!:D)

Been really busy today (esp since I'm not feeling that great!) - hope it's gone tomorrow as haven't managed to be up all day yet and don't know how I'll manage a whole day at work without a snooze:eek:

Roast chicken in the oven ;) so that should do several days (will be making chicken & leek risotto tomorrow or Tues) and hot water just put on for a nice soak in the bath ...... only other things left to do are put the bed back together and check to see if any of my work clothes have dried enough to iron:o

Did have a wee accident with the pan with the potatoes & veggies in :o - hands don't grip that well & picked it up & dropped it  (not the 1st time & probably not the last). Have a lovely burn on my finger to show for it!:(

Nevermind ..... it was yum & think I'll have it again tomorrow ;) (have pots & veg left & loads of gravy). Can then make chicken, leek & mushroom risotto on Tues (does twice)- so that's dinners sorted until Thurs;)

  • Beep beep beep :(

Don't know if anyone's ever looked for an automatic before but the tax bands are HUGE compared to manuals  ....... the one I was originally looking at was £135 - now hunted around and everything else seems to be even higher - £170, £215 or £250 :eek: bloomin' h*eck, that's a big difference from the £30 I pay now......:(

  • I know :o *sigh* ..... love my Dinky too;)

Will keep an eye out & maybe go for a couple of test drives ..... who knows, maybe the painkillers will make it poss for me to keep the manual for a while:cool: (although will prob get an automatic when I next change it - but would be good if I could put if off for a while).

Good luck with the car hunt Rising, OH wants (not needs) a new car and all the ones he likes are miles away from us so I can feel your pain.

Sounds like Maisie is rebelling against her show days by getting as mucky as she possibly can lol
DP recently got a rescue dog after theirs went to Rainbow Bridge last Oct. He's got quite a few issues bless him :(

Hope you've had a good weeked, how's your finger now?

:o It has a rather large blister on it

Just had a lovely walk with Maisie - lovely day but the odd heavy shower out of nowhere :p.....

Hayfever / lurgi is still here .....honestly, if it wasn't for the thumping headache / sore throat I'd say it was hayfever .... but not just the lurgi as eyes are red & itchy too

    I hate July ........
