Ohhhhh I wish - the downside of buying a new car is that everything does always fall together - I did actually buy a 6 month tax with my old car (to split the costs up) but unfortunately I can only get 12 months with this car ....... but it is only £30 for the year so I guess I can't complain:DSuffolk_lass wrote: »I know you are a bit remote from shops but is there a proper regular street market anywhere in a town that is driveable. I would offer whoopsie prices at the end of the day and then prep and freeze the veg to take the pressure off. I've done the same for meat, fish, pies and bread too. Don't ask and you won't get. My imaginary rabbit eats loads of carrots...:rotfl:

not one of my better skills
- it's mainly down to having Crohn's so a lot of the time it's what I can eat, rather than what I'd like to eat (and can change from morning to night which is why I like having frozen HM ready meals done) - but I must try to keep a proper list of the raw ingredients I have in (eg I'll have loads of chicken breasts but forget so buy more
).
It's Friday :j:j:j - have a lovely weekend everyone. DM is visiting tomorrow & the house is a tip :eek::eek::eek::eek: must go & tidy up a bit;)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks Beanielou - hope you've having a happy one too!
OK .... struggling to keep on top of things atm as they're a bit hectic.
New meds were giving me the most horrendous nightmares, so totally exhausted - did hope they'd settle but they haven't unfortunately. Dr's switched me to a different type, so fingers crossed they a) work and b) agree with me ... or that's it.
Anyway, need to get a few things sorted out so might not be posting as much for a couple of weeks ....... will pop in when I can!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Awwwww, thanks guys
- sorry I'm not posting a lot.
A bit run down atm ...... changing meds is never good (knackered immune system to start with) and also on anti-biotics for an infection which means it's even worse than normal ..... so I've now managed to catch a terrible lurgi (someone at work came in last week when they really should've been off - and they've managed to spread it to 1/2 the office, who will now probably spread it to the other 1/2).
Good news is that the nightmares disappeared from the day after I stopped the meds :j - bad news is that the new ones aren't as good at pain control mmmmmm (but I just couldn't cope with those nightmares any more).
Hope everyone has a good weekBeanielou you look after yourself hun ..... you know where I am too xx .

Ohhhh and the automatic test drive went really well :j so I'll def be going down that route at some point:D
Unfortunately my car has depreciated in value a lot and although they have automatics a year younger than my car (at just under £7k), if I get one of those then in 12 months time (when it gets to around the same age as mine), I'll be back in the same boat ...... don't really want to lose another £2.5k.......Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
