Just bought my first Christmas present :eek:

Also just spent a fortune at Sainsbury's, I only needed butter really, but stocked up on dishwasher tablets and laundry liquid on offer and also got £5 back for spending £20 on household products.. :T

Popped out today to get some "desperately needed" bits from Lakeland - turns out our Lakeland's pants and doesn't stock half the stuff of a normal one.. I blame Mary Berry, it's full of baking stuff for the popular fads but no lettuce knives!! :(

Anyway OH bought some bits from Body Sh0p - on sale, voucher used :D - and because I was in a grump we also bought some thornt0ns chocolate :o so not a wasted trip!

Just tried to order the bits online from Lakeland and there's a 7-10 day wait  so I've ordered them off Ebay instead :p Lakeland missed out on 30 hard earned pounds from me and I only spent £8 instead on the bits I actually needed rather than adding extra bits into my basket :j:j

Additionally though, I have bought a fig tree and some seeds from Eba*y so maybe my master plan didn't quite work :rotfl:

Goldie, don't do it!! I don't want you setting back your retirement date just because you had to buy a lettuce knife ;)

Just remembered to update the MFIT challenge - we have a shortfall of £2300 due to the car and garden spends :o think that means we're in amber or red... hopefully be able to make it back up by next update!

    Afternoon..

OH tried to get me to go swimming this morning but I refused to get out my bed, I'm glad now as I'm knackered. We've been out to town, walked for miles, then washed both cars and weeded the garden - if i'd have swam too i'd be back in my bed I think :rotfl:

We don't usually go to town on a weekday so took advantage of the bank being open and deposited £26.25 in silver coins, just need to sort out the coppers now! I will pay this off the mortgage once it's finalised.

Having a break and watching Jamie's comfort food now with a nice cuppa..

    Total spends
    • 1st staycation day - £97.30
    • 2nd staycation day - £15.57
    • 3rd staycation day - £22.00 takeaway :o
    • 4th staycation day - £16.47 on car sponges, peppercorns, savoury rice and supernoodles for OH
In other news, my lettuce knife has arrived.. :p
