Thanks GG, in reality it'll probably be a bit boring but in my head it's going to be like Runaway Jury and I'm John Cusack :D To be honest, I don't mind getting paid to read a good book and doing my bit for the judicial system!

So tonight OH is off out drinking with work peeps, I shall be continuing with my new passion - freezer envy! (OH thinks i'm a bit odd swooning over people's freezers)

    Look at this

Who wouldn't want a freezer this well organized.. everytime I open ours something falls on my head/toes!!

My next project, therefore, is to start freezer meals

Tomorrow I will be cooking :
    • Macaroni cheese individual portions
    • chicken and ham pockets
    • chicken and ham pie mix
    • egg fried rice
    • slow cooker chilli
and ramming them in the freezer somewhere because there's no room! :rotfl:
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • I have freezer envy too now :rotfl:

    Me Too!!

Jealous of jury service too, always fancied doing it. Have been in front of coroner and scared witless but love to be a paid jury member.

  • That freezer looks too sterile for me. Depriving yourself of the pleasure of finding the unexpected packet of profiteroles or tub of ice cream just isn't fun

Don't forget the peas making a bid for freedom :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I always have a few stacked lunchboxes with frozen leftovers for mine and Daves dinner (the kids take sandwiches). I have a floor to ceiling freezer but tbh miss my chest freezer as it was always cavernous.

I'd love to take sandwiches everyday :( but bread is evil.. I'm a little bit jealous of people who go and fetch their lovely looking lunch everyday from the sandwich shop but then I think of the cost  and decide they're stoopid :rotfl:

Right, well i'm officially knackered.. I've made 3 portions of mac cheese, 2 portions of chicken pie mix, 2 portions of egg fried rice, 3 turkey meatloaves, 6 portions of chilli and 10 chicken/bacon pockets.

I'm just experimenting with stuff so haven't made huge batches yet, but if it works ok then I'll be doing a lot more.

    I have taken pictures... :D

    Before

After - top 2 shelves only, because the rest is still a bit of a mess! Tubs are stacked 2 deep so there's more in there than you can really see.

    Hi...

I have spent the last few days reading your diary from the very start and have learnt loads...

I hope you don't mind but I have a couple of questions...

What sites do you use for your free trials?
    What is a tilly tidy?
Can you show us some of your non confidential spreadsheets especially the mortgage one... but any at all your willing to share and finally....

Congress on everything so far... you seem to be really focused on your goal.
    Mortgage - 05/03/10
£ 110,743.90 Aim to reduce mortgage to 105k by end of 2010

    Car loan - 05/03/10
