    Afternoon...

Lovely day today.. washing out on the line flapping in the wind, with another load nearly ready to go out! Spring has definitely sprung this weekend :j:j

I'm a very happy bunny as on hols from work until Thursday, it's my birthday on Monday so I thought a few days off would be a nice birthday present to myself :D:rotfl:

OH has got up this morning and cleaned the house from top to bottom whilst I was reading the paper.. nicest present from him ever :T also offered to take me out for breakfast but I was too comfy.. maybe we'll do lunch instead!

Had loads of deliveries this morning too, the doors not stop knocking!
    • free hair stuff trial arrived - full size shampoo, conditioner, and a couple of serums PLUS loads of sachets.. :j
    • beautiful flowers from my sister, orange gerberas & lilies :happyhear
    • my Debenh*ms dress and shoes order, so I need to take the original dress back tomorrow - returned, £40 gift voucher back in my purse
    • a mystery parcel
Hope everyone is having a sunny weekend.. off to the butchers now to spend loads of money!

    xxx

£81 at the butchers yesterday  bit over budget :o but this was for :
    • 4kg chicken breasts
    • 12 pork steaks
    • 4 half chickens - flavoured
    • 2 lots of lamb kebabs skewer things
    • 4 x bags of chicken goujons
    • 2 x pork joints
    • faggots and pork pie for the father
    • 2 x gammon joints
    • 1 massive pack of bacon (about 30 slices)
I also noticed that they now stock lean steak mince for £5 a kg but I'd already ordered some from the supermarket so I didn't get any.. next time I'll stock up as that's a good price!:D

This little lot should last a good couple of months, it's always the chicken we run out of first so I may have to just pop back up for some at some point...

Morning INOD, unfortunately OH is addicted to chicken so he would eat it at every meal if he could:rotfl:

If you ask what he's making for tea it will be one of
    - chicken and jacket potato
    - hunters chicken
    - chicken pasta bake

    every time!!!! :D

I've received a book on French patisserie for my birthday so I'm afraid I'll have to go grocery shopping again so I can try some recipes out - not good for the purse or the figure but the pictures look gorgeous :rotfl: maybe I'll just appreciate the pictures until I'm down to 8 stone:D

Off to get ready for the day xxx

Thanks both.. I've had a lovely day.. 5 bunches of flowers, lots of vouchers and took out for a meal at TGI's - i'm a cheap date :rotfl:

I had my Ha1ifax statements through this morning for my savings accounts - one was 8 pages long and the other 4 :rotfl: loads of pages of Tilly tidies.. still quite short compared to some I imagine!

Anyway yearly interest paid of £27.66, not brilliant but it's the one account I move things in and out of quite regularly so wasn't expecting much. Popped it into the offset savings account :D

Where's the sun gone???:( Fog everywhere this morning..

Luckily I'm still off work on hols - one more day - so I haven't had to go out in it!:j

I received my Amaz0n vouchers this morning from GTM, £30:D This account has now been cancelled as it's took nearly two years to get them :rotfl: I think the effort v reward ratio is a bit screwed on that one, it should leave more time to answer surveys that give a bit more!

Its another phase of my electronic declutter too, I get roughly 2-3 GTM survey emails a day.. annoying when you don't qualify for any of them!

Have a good MS day all xxx

e.t.a. just realised our hot water tank outflow pipe is leaking quite badly :( need to get OH up the loft to have a look, not sure we'll know how to fix it though.. meanwhile, it's costing me money in lost water!!

    Oh jealous!!!!

Though from people I know who've been on it, take a good book etc. And you're more likely to think the whole process is a waste of time than you're upholding a fine democratic process :(
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
